Punk, metal, metalcore, mathcore. Doesn't really matter what you want to label it. I'll be the first to admit that I used to listen to a lot more aggressive music than I do now, but I still fuck with some of the classics when the mood is right. Moreover, Converge are among the more interesting of their contemporaries, and I'm actually eager to hear what they do with the new album later this year.
