Guys - regardless of the 8MB file limit on Discord, that track could be 200MB in size and it'd still sound the same. Vinyl is mastered/pressed with something called the RIAA curve (there's some demos of songs with and without this process applied, it's there to remove noise and accomodate a needle in a groove). The leak sounds like the direct output of the turntable, not an amplifier, was recorded. You could probably apply the RIAA curve like the amp does using software, but it wouldn't sound great and you'd probably make the mixing and mastering engineers cry.

Sorry, leaker here. My power went out but I have an alternative. I have a big stereo field recording microphone that I can plug in along with my crosley down at the local library. I'll play it on the vinyl and hold the microphone above and record it on the cassette machine I have. There are only two plugs I can use so I have to use the cassette machine. This is a long album so let's hope I have enough double A batteries to give the machine enough juice. I will then boot up the classic 2008 white Macbook they have for free use and record the cassette tape speaker with my iSight camera. It will have to be a webcam video because the audio recorder always crashes. I'll upload that to vid.me or another but that will take a couple hours because those white macbooks warm up quite a bit and slow down every so often. I'll bring the pocket fan I got a flea market last week. Hopefully it'll cool it down. I'll get a hoagie sandwich from the shop on the corner in the meantime if that's okay with you guys. Anyways, it'll be in the MOV QuickTime File Format. Also, I'll need to edit it in iMovie and then export it, which will also take quite a bit more time.
