I hate bait as much as the next guy but this is an issue that plagues majority of the boards on 4chan. I don't know how to effectively moderate bait. Where do we draw the line? How do we know when someone is baiting and not simply expressing a contrary opinion? Of course there are extreme instances but more subtle offenses will be harder to deal with.

I don't have any answers but this board is pretty much dead at this point. Much less traffic than it used to have. Threads stay up for a day or two or three. That never ever used to happen.

Keep it to 5 pages, and we'll be good. Discussions will be more consolidated, more people will see active threads, it'll be easier to see if there's already a thread pertaining to a topic in the catalog, shitty threads die quicker and meaningful threads stay up longer since there's fewer threads to disperse to

The board has gotten shitter, especially over the last few years - even when /mu/ was circlejerking over Odd Future, it was not as horrendous as it is now.

There's not a real viable solution to making the board better - I hate pointing fingers at other boards coming here and shitposting, but there are a few that obviously have contributed to a considerable amount of b8 threads and/or shitpost threads.
