Official release tomorrow.
Where the shugazi at?
super hyped
I've been coming back to Ujabasajuba in hype of getting the confirmation mail that my order of the vinyl release is to be received from my local post office, hoping for a download link to the new album sooner or later.
Ok first listen favourite songs:
>Sinister Waters II
>Porphyrogennetos
>Starik
Also seeing them and The Radio Dept. live in the summer.
Shit's gonna be so cash.

Also thought about getting the tickets to the festival already, but I might hit some of the gigs they're having right now on a tour for some other band.
great album

Starik is a tuuuuune, though the rest pales in comparison to everything from Ujubasajuba

Oh shit I didn't realize it was coming tomorrow.
I can't wait to get home and give this thing a listen.
THE BACK-BONE
Here's an experiment: if you had 3 songs to demonstrate to someone what shoegaze was, what songs would you show them? Mine would probably be:
>MBV - Sometimes
>LSD & The Search for God - Starting Over
>Airiel - Shirley Temple Tidal Wave

https://soundcloud.com/andrew-younker/sets/microchasm
full album just came out :), first track is my personal favorite. thank you!

Up through the third track. It's not very shoegazey so far but I do like the vibe and can see where the influence comes in, plus the writing is fairly solid. It seems very short though, 6 songs and 20 minutes is more like EP length. Could probably have doubled that.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uh2It1N8iCA any more ambient oriented shoegaze like this?

seefeel-quique

Actually yeah, it just ended and definitely felt too soon. I was actually sitting there for nearly a minute wondering why there was so much dead air between tracks. I liked what is there but that's my main criticism, the material isn't expansive enough and doesn't really end with much of a conclusion.

listened to that a thousand times already and succour and ch-vox are better

this one maybe
