If you're new to private trackers, Apollo is your best bet. It gets a lot of flak but at this stage there is virtually no difference between the two.

Apollo. PTH sysop and staff were fucking stupid enough to appear in a podcast on google hangouts with the retard Sarek, who started the failed tracker NoStream, that got posted to youtube. Horrible opsec. Then they banned Sarek to try to cover up their mistake. Pathetically childish.

Apollo's selection and quality control are garbage compared to what.cd, is PTH much better?

Not only is the file size difference negligible, it serves to further split up the seeder base of a torrent. V2 was used purely for padding uploads on what.cd, a year or two ago Entrapment posted an analysis of how much V2 was being snatched compared to everything else and it was abysmal.

If "more options the better" we might as well allow ogg like what.cd used to.
