what distinguishes "post hip hop" from "experimental hip hop" because this mostly seems to be the same thing

If post hop-hop were to be an actual term it would be when hip hop stopped with the original formula of turntablism and breakbeats in favour of studio/DAW production methods in the late 90s / early 2000s

"Experimental hip hop" works just fine for all of these.

And if a new genre emerges then it won't be because of you spamming here

hip hop has a long history of experimentation in production styles, why are we defining post-hip hop now? no way is atrocity exhibition different enough from regular hip hop to constitute post-hip hop, it's literally just alternative/experimental hip hop
