So I was listening to Cat Stevens earlier. Would it be funny if I became a hippy?
It'd be Fucking hilarious

Only if you become a Muslim afterwards.

Should I become a thought leader at my shitty state school. The people here are manipulated enough to follow me. I ate an edible and got drunk at a house party and someone told me I should be the next MLK - I was telling him about meditation and how I walk through walls. Every girl I meet here I have sex with (I'm not joking, I'm able to control them via telekinesis or something. Seriously, I swear to God I have super powers or something). Starting a new religion would be easy.
What should my name. There was Jesus, then Muhammed then Shane. That would be hilarious. What a weird picture that is. The final prophet from God, Shane.
Anyways, here to give you your message from God, "Follow this man, he is a vessel to correct your path. Go with him and become hippies."
All the text written above was written ironically. I don't feel this way and I'm not actually autistic. I created an autistic character and was transcribing his thoughts.
What does /mu/ think about this one?
Great album, sadly overshadowed by TOTBL.
its a picture of an album by the band interpol
It's an excellent first-listen, and still quite good, but doesn't have the same staying power as TOTBL. C'mere is still fantastic though.

New Arca song. Just got uploaded.
Another one with lots of vocals.
If the entire album has this musical style we might have a GOTY contender.

BAMP BRUTHA
17 was around the time I started to get into post-hardcore like The Blood Brothers and Fugazi, but I still hadn't quite grown out of scenecore yet. It was also around that time I first went to /mu/ and started listening to /mu/core stuff like NMH.
I'm 21 and my tastes is pretty much the same as when I was 17
I don't get it

MY LIFESTYLE

Agreed.
I wont find a heavier record. Ever. And this is why Metallica is famous.
Because this not only pure violence, this is real, They hated each other in this period. REALLY. There is no acting here. James doesn't even remember a lot of the recording process because he was drinking 2-3 Jack Daniels bottles per day.
This is also sad. This is just pure extreme emotions. There is a lot of sadness behind the violence. Check 16:55 or 49:40 (all the end of Some kind of monster is SAD actually.
You won't find a heavier record for a lot of reason. 1) noone can beat James' scream. I'm not a teenager fan I'm 31. There is a lot of things I don't like with this guy but musically he is the best vocalist ever in my opinion.
2) the sound/production and the combo drums + synths is insane.
3) There are 1 drummer.
4) Jack Bruce and his Samples to add the little something more.
I'm listening to Metallica for 20 years. Nothing has NEVER came close to this.
Post an album that you could listen to almost every day for an extended period of time and not get sick of
either pic related or Tom Waits - Rain Dogs for me
Pixies - Doolittle
Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon

Tapes like this are literally a dime a dozen in the underground scene. Need proof, let me know.
Beat selection is nothing special, flow and lyricism are nothing special, I like a few of his tracks but nothing stands out too much.
All around decent but not AOTY.
