Why are you not hype about the new Ayreon album /mu/?

Cheesy as fuck but so sublime, it's like finding a Rocky Horror style musical that they just dug out of a time capsule. It reminds me of a 60s prog album with touches of Queen and Devin Townsend, it's just fucking mental.
>mfw goofy vocals

I'm excited to see someone discovering Ayreon for the first time. Every one of those vocalists has played a major part on at least one other Ayreon album, if you like this you'd like 01011001, another album with Hansi.
>>71214900
Oh, speaking of Devin Townsend, he's actually on an Ayreon album, The Human Equation. Check that one out too. Honestly every Ayreon album is pretty important (though Electric Castle isn't really important to the plot but it's rad too)

This. He never released much formally and all we have is what we have. It's a shame too I enjoyed that compilation/leak/album? in your pic OP.
Hello Circlejerk. I spent all day creating a chiptune/bitpop/breakcore mix for my younger friend who wasn't around for olden chip/chan days. The mix largely is composed of tracks popular around 2008, as this was when I was most into 8bit music.
I share it now with you. Anon, please enjoy!

can't believe that in 2017 we're still talking about this mediocre post-rock record
Holy fuck. This is one of the best thing I discovered here. I listened to it for the first time last week and I haven't stopped listened since then. It's already one of my favorite albums ever.
How do you feel about this album? Favorite track?
Also, is there any album like this? Post-punk with this kind of drumming?

Weird, I just bought the first 3 PiL albums last week. Banging The Door and Go Back are probably my favorites, followed by the title track and Francis Massacre.

6 tracks are ready and finished, now I'm working on the final 4. Lyrics are still stopping me from finishing them though. Both for doing the vocals and for even writing lyrics anymore.

Very cool, some of it reminds me of 80s industrial stuff and even slight hints of OMD's Dazzle Ships.

After weeks of pain-staking effort, we have managed to put together a collaborative 50 song Beatles cover album, spanning their career in chronological order. The album was streamed yesterday and is now available for download on bandcamp. Mega link coming very soon.
