Sup mu/ I could use some help.
I am trying to convert a girl i am currently seeing to the glory that is metal. How do i do that. She is really into symphonic metal like the early nightwish and epica which is a start i guess. Apart from that she is a huge Weeb and really into K-Pop. What bands should i introduce her to and in what order. (Harsh vocals are somewhat of a problem beacause she mostly listens to music she can sing along to) I have a few ideas maybe you guys have some suggestions too.
Have you guys had success with someting like that in the past ? If yes share stories.

Can you guys recommend me some dark folk, especially with some religious themes? I've gotten interested in some freak folk recently and am in search of interesting bands.
Wovenhand isn't bad. Apocalypse by Chelsea Wolfe was ok. Some mewithoutYou was ok. Howling Songs by Matt Elliott.
Basically I'm searching for dark, freaky, atmospheric folk. Bonus points with religious themes.

No. But it is much, MUCH better than Views. A majority of the songs are instrumentally unique and the attempt at multiple genres feels more cohesive. There's less outright bad tracks and a bunch of highlights like Madiba Riddim, Portland and Teenage Fever, but the highs aren't anything ground-breaking for the genre and the rest of the tracks are merely good rather than amazing.
I'd give Views a solid 5/10, this is a 6. If You're Reading This is a 7, NWTS is 7.2, Take Care is an 8.
