whats good /mu/. I've seen a lot of mashups like Death Grips x Hotline Miami 2 OST. How do authors of these sedparate the vocals from the instrumentals?
>>75034862
is that photoshopped?
>>75034887
no it's me
They use MS Paint
>Yeah you there
>Why didn't you like my new album, Villains, anon?
>Why don't you come up on stage so I can fucking kick your ass?
Am I not allowed to have a different opinion?
She's done it again!
>>75034756
imo her best album
I loved 10 Love Songs, but this was pretty boring on first listen, barely anything memorable
Grimes!
Who will win it this year /mu/?

Ed Sheeran: ÷

>Radiohead have been nominated 5 times but haven't won once
What a joke
I guess The xx or Alt-J even though they already won once
>>75034733
It'll be either Kate Tempest or Sampha I think.
They won't pick a grime album 2 years in a row.
Alt-J and The xx are both pretty big now and I really didn't think either of their albums were that good anyway.
I'm still a little unsure what they were thinking with nominating Ed Sheeran, if he wins I will officially announce the death of the award.
Is it bad that I can't tell what makes a song like Good Vibaration better than Kokomo?
I like Vibration more but I also really like Kokomo.
>>75034719
Homosexuals think music is only good if it's innovative or groundbreaking.
Good vibrations is really just another pop song
My Audio Technica noise cancelling earbuds have started doing something weird. When the wire connecting the noice cancelling box to the music player is moved around, some of the sound cuts out. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to fix this, besides buying a new pair? Pic related is the model I have.
Buy a new pair
>>75034694
Try a warranty claim, that means they're giving out. This is the same for any pair of earbuds.
>>75034933
I'll check if I still have the warranty, thanks.
So is she basically retired from music or what?
Fuck you mean? She's releasing a new album soon.
>>75034661
You never hear about her anymore.
>>75034682
She was on Ellen just yesterday
What equipment/VSTs do you think he uses?

what does /mu/ think of Gojira
What's it like being a member of Fifth Harmony?
>>75034475
I want the second girl to crush my head between her thighs
>band called fifth harmony
>now only four of them
Camilla or Lauren?
wow this is actually better than the first one
this and the first one are so frustrating because they're KTT kids so whenever they try a different sound it's so obvious they're just aping all their favorite artists
>>75034443
and why do you think that isn't something all artists do?
Post your personal favourite album with what you think is the best vocal work
Pic very related
>Tesseract - Altered State
At the risk of memes, Devin Townsend has quite the range.
>>75034393
I always enjoyed Dan's performance on One more, he has an intensity to his voice that Ashe doesn't (even though he's great too)

Anna Von hausswolff
I saw her two days ago, and i saw her twice since i discovered her at a premiere of a swans concert. Amazing, hardly ever known such beautiful singing.
Need to know the name of this track:
https://youtu.be/rDlQV3pQ7sU?t=5m29s
starts at min 5:20
I've already checked out and liked all the well known artists like Marvin Gaye, Sly, Curtis Mayfield, Stevie Wonder, Isaac Hayes, and pretty much all of the Motown hits.
Interested in getting more into the genre, and RYM only shows the artists listed as having "great" albums, but I'm sure there are other ones that are just not as popular. Thanks!

>Lee Moses - Time and Place
>Baby Huey - The Baby Huey Story

Seconding Lee Moses. Also you really just have to get out there and crate dig as there are some amazing singles but not necessarily amazing albums attached to them. Here's some to start you out with:

There's literally hundreds of tracks like these from the 60's and 70's, you just have to dig around for them. Happy hunting anon.
>>75034646
Good call, compilations are your friend. Ace Records has hundreds of amazing collections of soul singles by artists who never released a full album.
>wanting to be black this badly
Nothing wrong with wanting to be black
>>75034483
Yes there is, because it's not attainable and just makes you look stupid and pathetic.
