Underachievers are mainly listened to people who are into beast coast/pro era, that is to say, fans of boom bap revival and the more classic NY sound, which is about as hiphop as it gets. Outkast are endlessly named as one of the greatest and most important duos in hiphop and Andre 3000 frequents top 10 lists for hiphopheads. Earl has fans from Odd Future which partially are suburban kids sure but OF was still big enough to not be exclusive for hiphop tourists. Could probably say similar things for all the other albums too but can't be fucked

before /mu/ i listened to about 15-20 artists, during my first year i got to 60-70, now i'm here for a about 2 years, listening barely 5-6 artists on repeat

/tv/ literally got the opposite effect, was getting more into film while reaching 1k films watched, mostly blockbusters and imdb core. then, searching for places to discuss i found /tv/. stayed for a couple months in that shithole for the memes, every month watching less films. finally managed to leave, then i end up in /mu/. that was about 2 years ago, now i'm reaching 1,7k films watched and i really went deep in foreign and old cinema, watching more films then ever, and enjoying. i don't even need to be an asshole about popular filmes and blockbusters like many of the /tv/ user base is, i just don't really find them interesting anymore, unless i wanna to watch something with someone, or really just watch a dumb movie.
