Mongolian Throat Singing discussion
I prefer Tuvan, to be frank.
can someone please explain to me how heidegger's clearing of being for Dasein is NOT a husserlian reduction to a transcendental ego?

DELET
It's time for /mu/ to apologize to the two greatest bands in the last 40 years.
Sorry U2, but fuck RHCP, they're average at best
U2 are pretty good. RHCP were pretty good in the early 80s and had a couple of decent radio hits in the 90s, but otherwise can get fucked..
>>75041726
I appreciate that a lot of people like their music but that doesn't mean I owe them an apology or that I have to like their shitty songs
>OH PLACE YOUR HAAAAAAAAAND

Homo Patricianus
This is their best album.
Blue Jay Way best song

It's true. I just bought it. Easily their best. I love Baby You're a Rich Man
Technically the best songs from this album were made during Sgt. Pepper's sessions but they were not included because they could ruin the concept.
Anyway my favourite is Revolver (:
oh look they got exactly what everyone thought they would get

chastity devices and BLACKED DVDs?
hey /mu/, I will be back to recording music again.
I used to record with some IEMs (Etymotics) but over 2 years I've had to buy 2 pairs because they break easy. Also they were just "accurate".
Should I get some headphones instead? Would't the extra bass or shit like that distort the mixing process?

pls respond
What are some hidden ambient gems? Steve Roach's A Deeper Silence and Mirror's I Paint for Love of Color would be two I'd recommend. Steve Roach is well known, but that particular album is very overlooked. I've already exhausted all lists I can find relating to the genre and am getting desperate.

Why is The Ninth Wave so good?
>>75041090
It's not. It's just boring hookless music. Better try Grimes' discography for some real experimental pop.
is that her pubes?
>>75041090
Because Kate is a great storyteller and great at creating rich multi textured sounds. Everyone I listen to The Ninth Wave I notice a new sound or layer that I hadn't before
If you loved The Ninth Wave you need to hear Before The Dawn, it's pretty much an hour and a half of Kate live storytelling, it's beautiful
