Thoughts?
I don't like the lineup
What's some good jangly emo? I've been listening to The World Is A Beautiful Place and American Football and I've been digging them.
I like a lot of jangle pop. The Church, Aztec Camera, R.E.M., that kind of thing. Something with similar instrumentation and vocals would be nice. I don't mind math rock influences.
algernon cadwallader is objectively the greatest emo band of all time
tiny moving parts is a fun band

>algernon cadwallader
That doesn't sound like a real band, but what do you know...
Thanks for the rec, they look like what I'm looking for. I'll download their debut. Any other recs?

Has their music aged well? Also this is still their best song:

I cannot think of a video that better screams "late 2000s"
THIS IS THE TALE
not at all, although it gets a pass since it wasn't made to age well. it was comedy music made for the time it was released. it's like watching old episodes of The Daily Show. It's not really enjoyable.
ITT: Shitty bands that aren't shitty people.
I pretty much grew up with these guys as a second family.
I'm a consumer, not a friend. If they are bad musicians, then they can as well just fuck off.
>/mu/ will defend this

Both are garbage. I would give The Wall an F and Souja Boy a D-.

Does /mu/ like hair/glam metal?
I unironically love glam/hair metal. Stuff like Poison, Mötley Crüe, early Pantera, Def Leppard, I love it.
Decline of Western Civilization 2 is so vacuous it's depressing. But there were some fun bands in that era, like Twisted Sister, Hanoi Rocks, and Slaughter.

What does /mu/ think of $uicideboy$?
>>74219833
so i don't really listen to nigger music, can someone explain the message they're going for? i assume it's about depression due to the name but their lyrical content is more along the usual lines of money hoes and drugs
Do you agree with him, /mu/?
