I saw Brian about 10 days ago and it wasn't even bad. God bless him, may he lives a long life.
hey guys just released a new track and would definitely appreciate some feedback on it. Its kind of like pop, similar to the style of bearface from brockhampton. Anyways, any support or feedback is appreciated. :)

I know it is it says at the bottom right, just thought it was interesting both of you chose the same picture. Will listen to your stuff after my song finishes.
I just listened to this album. I liked the post punky vibe, and the Kate Bush cover was great.

I don't think I've ever heard this album discussed here. Does anyone else like it? Anything similar you can suggest?

Forgotten buzzbands thread?
I used to like The Cribs and The Maccabees
What happened to them anyway
I heard their singer went insane
>>74215752
I dig this album, almost forgot about it
>>74215752
i used to listen to a lot of their stuff in middle school/highschool. their first 3-4 albums are pretty consistent in quality imo
has an indie artist ever made original music based on pokemon? it seems like it'd be a cool concept to do an album for every pokemon type (grass, steel, psychic, etc.)
why don't you do it yourself?
>>74215781
I've been itching to, but it'd be interesting to hear other's interpretations of what water/bug/psychic/etc translate to musically (if they exist already)

Lets talk about 'outsider' music
Recc me some good shit, discuss your favorites and their back stories (because thats half the fun of the genre), green text stories about that time you used your knowledge of outsider artists to get laid
>hard mode NO Daniel 'Industry Plant' Johnston
>god mode 9000: prove you like hot dogs more than Hasil Adkins
>be me fresh out of high school
>have legit autism
>really want to make music
>have a few friends who are beginner-level at playing instruments
>form a "band" that was mostly just us dicking around in GarageBand on an iPad
>make an EP
>shill it on /mu/ for like a month
>a few people like it but mostly everyone thinks it's shit
>somehow get asked to do a live show
>back out
>try to cut a second EP
>post a single on /mu/ that a friend made for it
>"wtf this is even worse than your old stuff, at least that was a hit or miss usually"
>band breaks up
I've been told by friends who've been exposed to this that it's definitely outsider music, what do you think?

Idubbbz's last good video was the Tana Mongoose one. His content has been pretty stale lately. Also his girlfriend is a slut.

He's been working on something "big", he keeps saying in the video descriptions. Everyone's expecting a Jake Paul content cop.

New vid. Made it ourselves
How do I get better at sight reading piano music? I have a good understanding of chords, key signatures, rhythms, and pretty much any music theory I need to know to perform a piece, and I have good coordination and finger dexterity. But it takes me a really long time to learn a new piece, and I have to learn it in small chunks, but once I learn a piece, I don't need to look at the sheet music ever again, and I can play it by memory. I used to take piano lessons when I was younger, and I remember that I could just look at a piece (albeit easier literature than what I play now) and just play through it, but I couldn't play jack shit from memory. What am I doing wrong?

Bump
you have to look at videos, books, online articles etc. then just practice. you havent practiced enough atleast an hour a day for months
you get good at sight reading by sight reading, so play easy songs you can sight read and work up to more challenging pieces
>meticulously crafted persona
>didn't go to music school, went to music
>values honesty and integrity
>father involved in multinational economic businesses
>bangs models, actresses
>model herself
>most likely banged Sufjan Stevens and perhaps carried his child for a while
>director/actress
>designed revolutionary guitar for women
>consistently good musician and lyricist
what's /mu/s thoughts on this impeccable artist?
i like how only the last 2 things op mentions have to do with music
>>74215320
meh......i could do all that...
