Radiohead kind of did the U2 arc, but since they're not a pop band, their electronics phase was dark and artsy instead of dance-y.

Ya know this album really is amazing. Listening to it rn and it's such a consistent project. Has such a relaxing mood to it. Nice mix between the poppy, energetic anco and the calming, ambient anco. This is def an all time favorite for me. What say you, anon?

Please, when it comes to elegant storytelling in a complex yet still catchy and memorable way there's no contest. Instead of straight up pop music it uses all the powerful evokers at its disposal to build wonderful mental pictures that make you relax along with the music.
