Invaders can't enter the boss room AFAIK.
If you want help, you need to specifically summon people who put down summon signs as friendly phantoms.

Personally, I never cared about either.
Getting invaded is extremely rare even if you play online, and I never went out of my way to seek out invasions or invade people.
Summoning people kinda undermines the point of the game IMO, and would also be a pain in the ass since you need to be in human form to do it and humanities are fairly limited for most of the game.

I considered BB when it first came out a phenomenal game, everything about it from the story (kinda funny how a loveletter to Lovecraft has the most straight forward and consistent lore of all the game) to the gameplay just worked perfectly, and when The Old Hunters came out I considered it Miyazaki's magnum opus, I honestly cannot see how he can top it.

Over two years later and I still do the weekly fight clubs and spelunk, it's just so good.

Yeah, BB pretty much just nails everything perfectly.
Best pacing, best lore, best soundtrack and most consistently high quality.
While pretty much every Souls game has had at least one kinda shitty area or boss - usually more than one - BB is pretty consistently good all the way through.
Probably the only boss I'd consider kinda bad is The One Reborn, and even that doesn't come close to the level of shittiness of the worst designed bosses in the Souls games.

To be perfectly fair, as much as I love BB, Witches of Hemwick were just a shitty gimmick boss, and the Nightmare Frontier had so much visual clutter than you just got stuck on geometry you could barely even make out in a sea of piss yellow most the time.

Yeah, honestly, I stopped playing DaS3 much faster than any of the previous FromSoft games.

Even though it has a great soundtrack and some really good content, the replayability value suffers hard because you have to suffer through about half a game's worth of linear, tedious mediocrity to get to the actual good stuff. It's a very mixed bag, with its worst parts being much worse (and longer and more numerous) than the worst parts of the previous games, but also having some of the best bosses of the series, all in the last 1/3 or so of the game.

Take Pontiff Sulyvahn for example, absolutely fucking great character if you went through all the lore, possibly one of the most genuinely evil and sinister characters that easily could have held the weight of the game on his shoulders and already basically had the entire world in the palm of his hand. Would have been fantastic as a primary antagonist, end game boss. What do they do with him? Fucking in between boss with almost no relevance to the game itself, despite having one of the biggest presences in the games lore.

DS3 never felt anything like DS1 to me.

The only thing that's closer to DS1 is that its lore is less bland than DS2, which isn't all that surprising considering Miyazaki wasn't much involved with DS2.

The main problem with prosthesis isn't discomfort, it's the risk of infection.
You have to wear a liner on your limb that helps the prosthetic stay on.
If you have an active lifestyle, you're going to need one with extra grip, and those usually aren't really breathable.
All of your sweat and oils from your body gets trapped, and if contained for too long, causes rashes and possibly massive skin infections.
You have to take it all off after exercising and let the skin around the stump breath for a while.
