One of my worst fears is that the show finale would be the girls moving on with their life.
Some would leave like Rarity, Dash, maybe Pinkie too because the town ain't big enough for two bakeries.
It would kill me, I mean most of Equestria is a one day train trip at most from Ponyville, so them seeing each other often wouldn't be a big deal but still. The only reason to move out is a big life opportunity so of course they'd have a big goodbye party because the girls mean so much for the town.

The perfect finale would be just a second best night ever. Just a fun silly plot that ends with them laughing and you know going back to their homes, knowing that tomorrow is just another normal day where they will see their friends and do stuff together. Maybe breakfast at Twilight's or a spa day or having lunch in town.

But that's still far away, after who knows how many more seasons.
I fucking love them and I'll be incredibly sad when the show ends.

Overall hated Triple Threat simply because it was a wasted opportunity

You have Thorax who is having trouble being assertive and Ember who is far too assertive and Spike who invited them both accidently

For somebody who went through all those friendship lessons I was surprised Twilight didn't suggest he just be honest from the start as it could have lead into something more interesting like Thorax and Ember both vying for Spikes attention to help them deal with their problem (not out of jealousy) and in the end having them realize they could help eachother maybe with Spike helping so the whole friendship problem thing could happen without it actually being one of his own making.

Instead what we get is Spike lying to his friends, being paranoid as fuck, and being judgemental. These are qualities I expect from Twilight, not Spike. Spike is in a way her voice of reason yet this episode he acted just like her.

Genuinely enjoyed 6 episodes.
Could rewatch if I had to: 11 episodes.
I'd rather get cancer: 7 episodes.

Maybe I could move a couple of episodes from the "could rewatch" to "liked" if I gave them a chance. The "cancer" episodes were irredeemable, there's no way I change my mind about them. Completely forgettable season, much worse than any other season to me. Comparatively, in my list for season 7, with only 15 episodes so far, I already have 10 in the "enjoyed" list.

On an unrelated note, I finally found a good tactic to kill mosquitoes.

I can never get them by clapping or hitting them with a cloth, because the fuckers are just too quick to react and fly away a millisecond before you hit them.

But just wait until the fuckers land somewhere and spray them with window cleaner spray from a distance, they drop dead instantly.

Of course I also poison myself, because then I can't open the window or more mosquitoes will get in... totally worth it.

Am I the only one who liked the episode?
Both Ember and Thorax were fun to watch. The only disappointment was Twilight and her behavior. Spike's actions made sense to him and I can kinda see his point even if I don't agree with it.
I suppose this ep shows how the new writers can actually write good characters, but can't write the Mane 6 that well. I'd wager it's because they don't want to make them do anything that'd be out of character, and since they're only so familiar with their characters, the writing ends up bland.
