What did Pinkiefriends think of today's episode? I liked it, but it bothered me how easy the conflict would have been to resolve if Spike had acted more sensibly. He had a bit of a brainfart for 20 minutes, it's kind of unlike him to allow something to become THIS much of a problem at this point. He's grown a lot, and it feels like he lost all of it for plot convenience. The jokes were alright though and I liked seeing Ember and Thorax again, they're both pretty cute. 7/10 overall I think.

A tulpa needs thanking now and then, if she's helping you though tough times, she deserves acknowledgement don't you think? Not the anon, but I was going down the exact same path.
Hard to believe but I actually was a drunken unsuccessful tulpamancer.
I never got any better at having friends inside my head, mostly due to drinking and trying to drown my sorrows, but here's what I know.
Don't get me wrong, small doses of ethanol are great for being temporally creative, but don't overdose it. If it's a problem for you simply start with disciplining yourself not to drink.
Being able to force yourself to meditate, a.k.a. having a lot of willpower is essential, so you probably will want to train that first.
The real thing you need for early tulpamancing is focus. You may want some caffeine If you're falling asleep while meditating, again not too much. You may find silence or some music very helpful, for instance binaural beats are quite popular nowadays, personally I love the old beta Minecraft ost.
If you're interested in the dark ritual kind of forcing I can't help you, my belief in science was too strong to try that.
Take note these are not facts, just some experiences of a semi failed mancer.
Wish you more luck than I had.
