Looks like the not being able to place pixels issue is due to CloudFlare rate limiting. If you send too many requests to the server in a short time span (like, say, placing a pixel every 5 seconds), CloudFlare assumes you're attacking the server and blocks further communication. According to the documentation from CloudFlare, the ban lasts either 1 minute, or 1 hour. And I've been waiting for more than a minute.

I'm not sure how to make the most out of this change. Start with the third mural? I'm still curious how this will affect our defense and expansion. I imagine Arkeros's plan is to make actively protected art harder to grief with minutes-long cooldowns. But what will people do now that there are no regional centers and no limit to expansion? Especially those of them interested in playing Europa Universalis with flags? Will we see a hue flag tens of thousands pixels wide cover it all?

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the change. Once most of the "new" pixels become replaced, it will become increasingly hard to build over them, which I guess is the idea. Kinda like letting paint dry, I suppose. I'm not a fan of cooldowns varying between 5 and 30 seconds.
Anyway, someone took advantage of lower cooldown times to make the "thick, creamy potions" banner near Minuette, but it reads something else than originally intended.

You need to make it 1px larger on either side. Easiest way to do that is add one to the top and one to the bottom I think, from a spriting perspective not much needs to change, a little blue and maybe green and that's mostly it.

Template perspective, you guys are sort of screwed and fixing will be a pain, but I'll help.
