I'll be there. Only Saturday, though. Maybe Sunday if I have a good time and I feel like giving some of my precious shekels to a hotel.
I'll be honest and say that I've never actually been to a con before, let alone a pony-related one. I have no idea what to expect and any tips would be appreciated. Should I carry a bunch of cash with me? Will there be merch booths? What'll parking be like? Should I expect to be there all day, half a day, few hours? Younger brother wants to tag along, but I read the schedule and I saw there's a few 18+ events- are there any museums or parks around that I can take him to while those're happening? Etc.

Trot had panels all night. The 18+ and 21+ is after dark. Parking is great if it's the same hotel. The vedor hall was OK but the 18+ vendor hall was great.

You can expect whatever you make of it. Trot was my favorite con. Massive parties, lots of fun, wish I could go again. Hang out in smoke pits and try to make friends if you're going solo.

It's a mix of goldschlager, butterscotch schnapps, and irish cream to your liking. I usually go heavier on the creme because otherwise it's a strong drink.

You dip the rim of the glass (or solo cup) in chocolate carmel sauce and then in crumbled ginger snap cookies so it looks like a dirty rimjob. Ideally i would make it in a shaker and serve chilled but I just used ice because I didn't have a sink to wash the shaker.

It's kind of a shot rather than a drink but I didn't have that many shot cups.
