Is season 7 shaping up to be one of the best of the show?

S1 > S2 > S5 > S4 > S3 > S6
Currently S7 is competing with S5 for me.

I'm seriously more impressed by S7 episodes than the Movie who really feels like some Twilight Kingdom 2.0 without any deepness or character development but with a lot of crappy jokes and action scenes.


Discordant Harmony and Perfect Pear actually made better jokes and more development than this entire movie is trying to do. Its bascially a Michael Bay trying to do pony movie.

I really hope next movie is written by Lady Writers or Larson instead the generic bunch of directors who made Ice Age series or think that battle scenes with edgy characters is a pinnacle of the moviemaking.

It had decent development for Discord and was genuinely a good starting point for developing Twilight into her role as a princess. They just didn't do anything with that development for 2.5 seasons.

S7 stands at the same level than 1, 2 and 5. If it stays with the same quality, best season of the show.

Yeah and i like it even more now after seeing the movie trailer. If they keep the quality up with season 8 and beyond I'll be very happy.

Actually, yeah, I would agree it is. Just gotta hope they don't fuck it up with an awful second half compared to how strong the first half was.
