>You get in and immediately you are locked in her embrace. She fits herself between your body and arm, hoof going on your chest while her head rests on your shoulder.
>It doesn't help that your shirt got pulled up a bit and now the soft pony belly is right against your naked skin.
>As you put your hand on Twilight's back it follows the gesture a bit like before and she presses herself up to you even more.
>You run your hand up her body and you're happy to see that she's not against it.
>After some time she catches your hand with her wing and secures it under, wriggling a bit to pull your shirt further up.
>It's almost up to your chest now and so Twilight gets her fuzzy tummy in there.
>The pony's eyes are closed and a gentle sigh escaping through her content smile tells you that she likes it.

"No, I'm just glad to see you."
>The mare laughs as you let go of her.
>"Me too. I got up early and made some salad, you haven't really eaten anything yesterday."
>You struggle to remember if you even had anything to make salad with.
>Twilight is off to your room while you go through your morning rituals and grab the bowl of some sort of veggie salad in the kitchen.
>You don't spot anything unusual in it, but you don't remember ever having vegetables in your fridge.
>She wouldn't have smuggled proper healthy food from Equestria just for you, would she?
>You won't ask, but you still make sure to thank her on your way back.

>It's pleasant to see her taking initiative but you have to respond.
>The other hand is still free and it's now going for the mare's head.
>Stroking her mane seem to soothe both of you, and soon you find out that ear scratches please the princess as well.
>She's all mellow on your lap and you can't really pay attention to anything else but her now.
>You never expected Twilight to be so receptive to your affection.
>Perhaps she herself needs someone close to her to get through a cold day and a lonely night, just like you do.
>You just wish this day would never end. You wish to always be by her side.
>Maybe one day she'll take you with her.
>If she leaves without a trace you feel like there would be no reason to even live anymore.
>But for now, in this very moment, you're glad that you're alive.

I never realized how much of a nightmare that kind of scenario would be. To one day find myself in Equestria, manage to get to know her, marry her, then one day, fall asleep in bed with her, and wake up alone in my own bed back on Earth feeling like it may have all been just a dream. Suddenly, all my supposed experiences with her would be cheapened to dirt. I'd probably go insane desperately trying to find evidence of it being real with the growing, crushing suspicion that it never was. I think I'd rather not meet her at all than to have to have such a vivid, beautiful chapter of my life suddenly reduced to a vague, dream-like memory of questionable legitimacy.

I think I'd end up convincing myself that this awakening is actually the dream. I'm still right there with her and I'm just seeing a very vivid dream about my horrible lonely life without her. I'd spend time waiting for the nightmare to end, and in the end the logical solution for me would be to die in this "dream" to wake up.
