The show itself just feels so forced and pandering to the teenage girl and feminist audiences. I mean it's literally called "DC Super Hero Girls", they're not even trying to be subtle here.

I see no reason why it couldn't be an even gender split or at least have a couple of guy heroes. You know, something akin to the old Teen Titans series that while pandering to a younger audience still managed to be a good show by executing it well.
