I never realized it before, but they made a much better "Mirrorverse Mane Six" than anything out of that shitty Reflections arc. The thematic contrasts were already all over the place, too; sci-fi setting versus fantasy world, "might makes right" superheroing versus selflessly protecting Equestria without any monetary gain. Even the Mane-iac herself was a far cry from most other villains on the show; she was motivated completely through incomprehensible malice. There wasn't any friendship lesson that could fix her, she was just crazy and genuinely wanted to fuck Maretropolis up.
