Nah nah nah, I don't think so. Equestria has literal, actual magic that breaks the laws of physics. Anon, I'm still amused by remote-control helicopters; I'm tickled pink by that real-time language software thing that Google has; and I basically jizz my pants when I read about 3D printing. Magic will take years to lose its appeal to me. Ponies would condescending to me at worst and enormously biased in my favour at best, since I would belong to the fairer gender. I'd also be the only human (or I'd be one of 5 humans) in Equestria, an entire new species of peoples from an whole 'nother universe. For one thing, we'd be paid out the ass for any information about how our universe works, how human society functions, what technology we have, etc. Secondly, it would look mighty bad for Celestia and Luna if foreign governments found out that me and my family were living on the streets because we couldn't get jobs without buttstamps. Think about how bad it would look for some country if anybody found out that after they take in refugees, they take a picture with them for good press, and then they dump them out onto the streets to fend for themselves with absolutely no support.
