Dawn was walking through the hallway with no direction in mind. It was one of those days where she had to do nothing. It was always nice to have one of those. As she passes her brother's bedroom door, she hears something that peeks her interest.

"They're beautiful Mistake. Can I touch them?" said what sounded like her brother. Her head turns to the door and she hears someone else. "Okay Radiance. Be careful, they're really sensitive." Dawn's eyes widen. There is now way this is happening. She slowly walks to the door to put her ear against this. Maybe she could use this as blackmail the next time she doesn't want to go to court and gets him to do it.

"I didn't expect them to be this soft. They're a bit small." Dawn is laughing inside when she heard her brother say that. "Don't worry. I'm sure they'll be as big as my mom's someday." Wait, what are they talking about? Are they hiding something. Whatever it is, it better not lead her to becoming an aunt.

"Don't squeeze them like that, it hurts," Mistake said. This seems like the time she should stop this. She thinks of a lie about their Aunt wanting to see them. Dawn opens the door and sees it wasn't even close to what she was imagining. They were talking about her wings.

It was just another day for Dawn to cockblock her brother.

Like I said, Pogo's head looks like it was copy pastad over an existing pic. Something about the jaw corner/neck seems off to me. Maybe the lines are too thick, something is too long, not sure. Just something about that area screams that the head doesn't belong on that body.

You know what, I'm gonna run with it. Let's say the Princess Force (all the alicorn Princesses) receive bad omens of something terrible to come. Later some haggard guards report a break out and revolt by the forces of Tartaurus, and that someone has been weakening the deterrents inside, andis preparing the creatures to break open the gate and take over Equestria. As the Princesses gather their own forces to protect the gate and all the scouts they've sent never report back, Luna wants to send her nephew Radiance through the gate to get valuable information on their leader and the onset of the rebellion. Celestia objects, but Luna insists that he's more qualified than their guards who haven't seen action in years, and that his appearance as a satyr might help him blend in better with the abhorrents and abominations previously imprisoned there. He agrees to collect the information and gears himself up to journey through the depths of Tartaurus, right before Kaos appears out of thin air and tells him that the scouts they sent likely perished and he might suffer their fate. Kaos has enough knowledge of the land that she'd be an indispensable guide to him to avoid the dangers and pitfalls in there.

So the two of them enter through the outside gate, then enter through the main gate into Tartaurus proper. From this point on, their magic has been negate, which hampers their progress through some of the realm's challenges. They ultimately get past most of them, but then at a certain point they find out that their magic is returning and the obstacles are nowhere to be found. Kaos comments how strange this is when the two of them see a band of monsters patrolling the area. Kaos goes ahead and tries persuading them to let them through. They are allowed to pass and the two walk through a settlement inhabited by demons living in houses built from the stone of the walls and the irons of their prisons, all clamouring about their eventual escape to the surface and how someone called the Lady is going past the guardians of Tartaurus one by one. The further Kaos and Radiance travel, the more they see the militarization efforts go underway. Eventually they're stopped at the city of Distopia, where only demons with the permission of the Lady of the Underground are allowed to enter. Kaos, having her powers back, just poofs them behind the walls so they could find out about this Lady and go. After sneaking around the city and entering her quarters, they dig around a bit to find any other sort of information they could use, when suddenly they're knocked unconcious and drained of all their magic. Waking up inside a dungeon, they see the barely living husks of the ponies that were sent here previously. Kaos, freaking out from the total absence of her magic, is reassured by Radiance and confesses to him that she only helped because she saw it as a means to get closer to him. It's at this moment where they're marched to a trial for their lives and meet face to face with the Lady of the Underground, Kyra, Queen of Tartaurus.

Originally, I went by dj-black-n-white because I really sucked at color and because I only drew the old fashioned way of pencil and paper, but when I got into digital drawing with my tablet and could use the eyedropper tool, I have started delving into color. To mixed results.

I was thinking of a fall from grace story. She would be this student from one of the princesses herself. Someone who was amazing and was complemented as such. That was until she saw her competition, she realized that with them, she would not be the greatest. That was until Grogar came with the possibilities of the dark arts.

I'm not sure what his inspiration would be, but he decides that he should never let a disease control his life. He covers himself up and learns to fight, and eventually earning the name "Fury's Wall."

Arrogance and Sloth were two things that struck this Pegasus. I haven't thought of what would change him like the others. Whatever it was, it changes him to become the best at what he does. He wants to be THE satyr ponies think of when they hear about the Thunderbolts, a sister team of the Wonderbolts, created for the non pony species.

He probably has the most, but they all have the same origin. One where he doesn't consider himself even close to Glimmer is in Magic. This results in one of three changes, all three leading him to helping people.
1. He decides to not care about magic as much, leading him to becoming an amazing surgeon.
2. He goes into fields of science and builds machinery to advance technology further than imagined.
3. He studies magic and becomes a protector of the realm, constantly combating beings that want to consume it.

One I constantly tweak. He starts off greedy and a bit of a womanizer, hiding it from his family without a care in the world. Something happens that makes him change, either his dad dying from heart problems or him finding the one he loves. He straightens up, not instantly, but as he grows. He starts his little vigilantism during this. When he starts, he thinks he needs to use fear for a while. That was until what started as a night at a fair with his family and saving the day and helping a caged Ariana that helped him near the end of that night, he tries to be more inspirational.

I have two ideas for his final story
1. A final fight at the Sweet Apple Acres against his entire rogues gallery. He was able to take them out, but he's not going to make it. As his family tries to save him, he comforts them, saying that it's okay, he stopped them. The last scene would be him seeing his dad again, telling him that he did good.

2. Grogar needs to use temptation to corrupt spirits. He takes away someone Utah loves. Utah finds a gate to Tartarus to get them back. Grogar tries to tempt Utah in serving him with wealth, women, and power. He refuses it all, only wanting who he kidnapped back. Grogar takes a more violent approach and summons his minions both from brimstone and the earth itself. Utah defends himself, still refusing. Grogar would have one last trick of turning him into nothing more than an idea of his to corrupt. Utah's resistance is like a cancer to Grogar's mind and he changes back to his physical form. Grogar is stopped by either an item Utah got from the royals or some sort of family heirloom. He takes the loved one back with a smile, knowing he did the impossible.

I like the whole comic book origin stuff mixed with some slice of life arcs in here. A nice balance. I wrote those. They're in my pastebin. I just found it hard writing the combat and possibly straying from Darkest Dungeon because I love the game too much. We can still talk about a dark fantasy world like that.

Capes are easier to write because anything is possible. For all my contempt for the mlp comics, I can at least say they have premise ideas I like. The execution is a very different story.

Yeah, I guess ot would be hard adapting order based combat into more thrilling. I love the idea of satyrs in an adventure based fantasy world though, gritty or not. I tried to do a one-shot with a band of satyrs just roaming about on permission with their parents, no real goal in mind with that one.

Another one was set in a country of men engulfed in a war with monsters, where satyrs (and by extention sapient talking ponies and the like) are somewhat rare to find and don't have a set hub place to settle like in Ponyville. I only wrote one story, and it was with Simmer of all people, but the situation was supposed to be like Narnia after the humans took over and ostracized and drove out the magical creatures. Most humans have a distrust for Equestrians, doubly so for satyrs, so everyone has a different opinion where they side. Some have formed mercenary bands to help out the kingdom of men. Others set up bands of resistance for the kingdom's unfair rule over Equestrians. Stuff like that.

She looks cute as hell and I would love to see and hear more of this concept. Content and interest in general has been on the decline for the threads so maybe a new fresh idea is just what we need. And I love your drawings and want to see more of it. I'd imagine that the monster school would have a small student body because we have few monsters. But if you introduce new ones that could work. And when you say the town sends troubled kids do you mean satyrs like Thorn? Or do they send both bad apples of satyr's and ponies?

I'd still have to gather all the monster girls and settle on an general age they would be at.
while at first, the school would have around 10place holder until i figure the real amount, the more the kids there misbehave they began to earn a reputation for the school. everyone will just assume it's a detentional facility for gang members and the nastier of half-breeds, and bad kids (i had Steel Cage and Blare in mind) would be sent. maybe a pony here or there, but generally the public would argue "that sweet filly is not fit for such a terrible place!" treating it like a prison.
since it would be a national school, for breeds of all over, it would be a dorm with very strict rules and a handful of teachers.

i'm not against herding at all. i like minimal anons, and group them around (DGA, princess!anon, Lyra/Bon/etc!anon, etc) but i'm leaving this vague on purpose. only well known siblings (like the siren kids) would be discussed. i will leave anon out of it, aside from one teenage anon.
