When I tried Fire Alpaca and Krita, they didn't work out for me. I used MyPaint for years until the new update, and following that, I've been using Medibang Paint Pro. Both these programs are wonderful and are completely free. You know, just for future drawfags to keep in mind.

I just downloaded Medibang Paint Pro. I've been using Artrage for the last long while. MB does a few things I wanted Art to do. Though the pen menu is not as customizable the result is basically unchanged. What do you think? I'll be using MB for the next week or so- time permitting. Using pie the pony for the try-out.

Of course I have Sai, I just can't draw with it. It won't open on tablet and the menu system is overly complicated anyway. Despite what people may think, Sai isn't that great. I've used a (for me) lot of draw programs in a year's time leading my own opinions to differ from the people who latch on to one prog and think that one's the best.
Yes, I leave a lot of open lines, sometimes it's involentary- I just didn't spot them. Those three pics were literally the first three pics I drew on Mediabang. "Is this the pencil? How do I save? Where does it go? What does this do?" etc I wasn't going for perfect, I was trying to learn what was possible.

We should get more people to draw ponies getting pied and ponies in the mud. Different artists tend to lend a different bend to the styles, leading to different jokes being made. What would a surrealist do when drawing Fluttershy getting pied? Or Rarity in the mud? Or Pinkie (mlp) pieing Pinkie (eqg)? Or drawing a spectacular sunset while Sunset plays in the mud? Or the moon in the sky while Luna plays in the mud in a nighttime setting?

I don't get super defensive, people just expect that other people are "super"-(something wrong) nowadays. People gave me serious critique and I gave them a serious rebuttal as to why that isn't helpful to me. It's like giving marble-sculpting advice to a harp player. There's no one way for any of this. I can't even draw every day, work and all that. I have no idea why I am of any interest to anyone. Perhaps you should just go help some other guy? Though I admit I make a great test bench for finding things that shouldn't have become screwed up.

I like your art to an extent since it's kind of abstract and it's nice to see something different but there are a PLETHORA of reasons why it doesn't have many upvotes. Also DB is extremely fickle. The last thing you should be worrying about is what those schmucks think. I've seen 10 outta 10 art have very few upvotes.

I'm not sure what you mean. There's a difference between chicken scratch and sketchy lines. You can have loose, flowy lines in a sketch. All chicken scratch indicates is that you're not very confident with your strokes or that you're still drawing with your wrist.

Autism alert.

So I saw this shit in a dream right before I woke up today. AB, Dinky, Derpy, Hooves, Colgate, and Redheart. Hooves just got done laying all of them, and he's sitting stage right facing the 4th wall with Colgate on his right and Redheart on his left. They are both cuddling into him, Colgate with her head against his and Redheart cuddling into his chest. He has his front hooves wrapped around each mare (to the extent you can do that with horse legs).

Hooves is looking slightly upwards, maybe at the viewer, maybe at nothing in particular, with a triumphant smirk on his face. Kinda like that smug donk pic i reckon. Redheart has this half lidded, almost drugged out look of euphoria on her face, with one eye closed a little more than the other. She's looking over at AB. Colgate has her eyes closed.

AB is in the middle, laying down on the floor, ass to the fourth wall. Maybe dripping cum. She just got plowed after all, but it don't matter. She is looking over to her right, at Hooves.

On stage left Derpy lays on her back at something of an angle so that we can't really see the right side of her body. Her head faces stage left a bit. Dinky lies on top of her, snuggling into her floof, head turned to the right. They both have eyes closed. They both embrace.

As they all sit around, basking in the afterglow, AB says to Hooves, in the nature of restless minds that make too much of simple things:

Redheart is the only one that's really paying attention, looking over at AB through glazed over eyes.
