I remember going to see EQG in theaters. Man was that experience awful. It's about the same as going to see any anime movies that play in local theaters as well. People yell8ng and screaming for their favorite characters, cheering for the smallest, dumbest stuff. I couldn't stop cringing and the retards who would never shut up and just watch the movie.

The recent "spoilers" from CDCC imply that we still get the major plotlines from these leaks in the actual movie. Like the quest for air, fire and water stone which will lead to meeting Sea Ponies.

We don't know if its going to revilve around Alicorn sity, though. The villains has also been changed several times so its unlikely that its going to be an evil male Alicorn named Brother Cosmos.

I went to see Rainbow Rocks in theaters, no one bothered me, the audience was about half adult men and half children/families. Although I did encounter a clearly mentally disabled man on my way out of the theater who just shouted, "I LOVE MY LITTLE PONY!"

Gonna see the 2017 movie with my girlfriend (also a huge brony).

You're right. I went to the meetup nearby after the movie and it was a mixed bag of mid/late teens and early 20's. There were a few 30's there, but there were only 2 kids who looked early teen or late adolescents. The fact that grown men and women can't control themselves at a movie theater where there are children and parents around fucking baffles me. I just remember when Trixie showed up in EQG and the group in the center of the theater screamed "Trixie" and random Trixie quotes for about 2 minutes. It's fucking insane. Went to see DBZ in theaters too and any time a semi-regular character showed up on the screen, someone had to yell out their name and any time someone did their signature move, people would yell along. Nerds can be some of the worst people sometimes.

You can have fun, but at least be aware of social taboos around you. One major one is to not freak the fuck out at movies and yell during them. Again, I would have been more understanding had it been once or twice that the group cheered at something, but they litterly sang the themesong at one point, there was almost 0 quiet movements, and sometimes their cheering and chants would drowned out the movie. Are you telling me this is reasonable behavior? If so, you're part of the problem.

I remember seeing TMNT 2007 back then in a theater. The whole audience aside from me was kids and their parents. No one gave a flying fuck about me.

Hasbro should have done that after S2. Now it's too late. And if it really perform bad, we can forget about future pony movies, maybe even about FiM series. Hasbro may switch fully into Equestria Girls to still act as a competitor to Monster High. Since Matel doesn't compete with MLP, i think ponies aren't as profitable for other companies to make knock offs series.

The ending of mideocrity. What if they don't try a revival if the main series ends? Man, I don't think this movie will be all that good, but it would kind of suck to see the show go out in such a shit way. They should have ended it on the high note during season 3 and left it open to make a G5 reboot with Twilight as an important character and throwbacks to other characters completing their goals. It would have been something like Fuller House but not as dorky and it probably would have happened a little sooner than 20 years.

True. It seems hasbro really tried to hammer the original script out since the original draft was made in early 2014 and they didn't really do anything production wise until earlier this year.
Its seems like they really want to make sure they do this right, so the movie has a pretty good chance of actually being really good.
