S6 is ehh, so far. A lot of really shitty nu-writer episodes. If you're a faggot who drifted off the show then you should probably wait until S6 is finished and we have a definitive verdict on it.

Honestly it's been shit since season 2.

Sincerely I prefer season 6 over 2, because at least 6 has obnoxiously over the top plots you'd see in a normal cartoon show.

Unfortunately all of them are shit from 2 to 6.

Season 1 had the subtlety and cuteness and even some maturity. Unfortunately the plots were all slice of life, the characters were all stereotypes, the dialogue was eyerolling and so on and so on. But still infinitely better than seasons 2+

I wouldn't say the whole season is shit so far. We've had some abominable episodes like 28 Pranks Later and The Cart Before The Ponies, but we've also had some GOAT episodes like SRR and Stranger Than Fanfiction.

It's an inconsistent season, so I have trouble deciding wheter or not it's shit.

Did Starlight Glimmer make Flurry Heart take up half the season premiere? Did Starlight Glimmer make Rainbow Dash's first day on the Wonderbolts into a disaster? Did she make Applejack run the farm like a moron? Did she cause the deus ex machina in Cart Before The Ponies, make the main six act like hypocrites in 28 Pranks Later, or replace Thorax's backstory with the script for The Force Awakens?

You can't just point to the first change you see and blame it for all the season's problems. Starlight hasn't even appeared in most of S6's worst episodes. I didn't like how her redemption went either, but acting as though her presence has caused everything that's going wrong lately is ridiculous.
