well, the working idea was Anon, friends with Sunset and the other girls, save Twilight, was secretly the Green Goblin.
He doesn't know about Spider-Sunset and she doesn't know about him.
He starts off getting publicly exposed by laughing like the Goblin after Pinkie tells a too-funny joke to cheer up the table.
He bolts from the school (because everyone's heard the maniac's laugh on tv and the internet) and pulls on his costume, escaping on his glider, only to be tackled by an also-costumed Shimmer.
She doesn't joke around and he struggles to get some breathing room before fighting her off this his very few pumpkin bombs (you can only fit so much in a backpack, after all)
He knocks her into a condemned building with his glider, only to get pulled in himself
They're evenly matched but exhausted before the deliver a mutually-unmasking blow
Stunned, he sits back while she fumes on the other side of the room, demanding to know if he thought it was funny to pretend to be her friend
He argues that he never knew, but she screams at him instead
"THEN WHY DID YOU KIL TWILIGHT!?"
Twilight is Sunset's Gwen Stacy and she thinks that Anon, who has feelings for her, did it to get closer to her
Anon apologizes, the serum makes it hard to think, he never even knew that the girl he'd held from the bridge was Twilight, that he didn't know Sunset would break her neck saving her, that he was just playing around and having fun
Sunset has enough of it, calling him a murderer and a psycho and starts fighting him again and this time Anon realizes that she's really going to kill him
Panicked, Anon activates his secretly still-functioning glider, killing himself when Sunset dodges
He dies saying he's sorry, Sunset realizes what she's done and collapses the building around him, to hide the Goblin's identity and swears to make up for her failure, both to Anon and Twilight

Thanks to some kind words from mamoruku, I think I'm gonna give this another shot. It'll be difficult though because of a voice-over project I'm working on for /co/, and the Flash story in Spider-Shim may need to be reworked thanks to DC's Rebirth (which is great BTW), and I just finished doing another play....but I've written over ninety pages for Spider-Shim, and I'm not gonna turn my back on her. She'd never turn her back on Anon, after all.

I have a responsibility that I plan to keep for the time being, so enjoy as I continue.

Nah, yesterday everyone was too satisfied with rebirth, and the people who did talk about Captain Hydra were mostly saying "Hail Hydra".

Update of sinister six, all flat colors are good to go, all that's left is shading on 3 of them and highlights/effects. Plus side, got an 8 hour shift at midnight coming up so plenty of time to work.
If not posted tomorrow, avenge my death comrades.

CHAPTER 2: Insects of two kinds
