Well, you've already mentioned a singing contest, though it can be something separate from the Battle of the Bands entirely. Maybe the BotB never happened and there happened to be some singing contest in the city where the Dazzlings were accused by Humane 7 for cheating because Twilight detected there were odd forces at work? No evidence was found to support their claims but the judges or whatever decided to "dismiss" the Dazzlings from the contest because they felt something was up (their siren magic) and just wanted to be safe. Why would they trust dirty, and no doubt smelly, girls who have no family or non-family to vouch for them over the group of girls who actually have family and non-family besides each other? That's one route.

Spider-Woman's identity being known bu Dagi sounds like fun. If she were aware of the Power Ponies superpowers and talents (like the Spider Sense), however, I think she would refrain from entering the contest to conceal their abilities. The Humane 7 would probably "invite" them to SHIELD or offer their friendship. Whether the Dazzlings would be up for it is my question. Probably a question of how risky the 3 think it would be. But they're still in a dumpy apartment by the time Anon comes into play. There's still a lot of room to work with here.

The symbiote (not venom) was attracted to peter because of the immense power he contained on the battleworld. Peter decided to take it off, because it was controlling his body as he slept, and it was wearing him out. Not sucking out his life. The symbiote is more like a jilted obsessive lover spurned than an evil lifeform. And far as I know it forgot who Spiderman is and is now on Flash as Agent Venom. so Venom literally did nothing "serious" wrong and peter is in fact a dick. Plus even as he stood in the belltower trying to remove it, it saved peter and stroked his cheek before dissipating. DYERTC?
