It's always interesting to see how Rainbow Dash interacts with the other main cast. It's not like with Pinkie or Fluttershy, who generally behave the same no matter who they're talking to- Dash doesn't have the exact same kind of friendship with any two ponies and she shows different parts of her personality around each of them. In that regard, she might be the most detailed character in the show.

Well I've started, finishing is a completely different matter and like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if I just stop. Given the occasional pauses to note down any bumps, it's taking longer than I'd have thought.
It's fun though so I don't mind, my only real issue is that I just know through it all I'll probably end up missing at least a few in total, which is a shame.
Those Google searches and the wiki are helpful on that front, as while they're not complete, I can check with them after the fact to see if I'm missing anything. I reckon they cover everything from the later Seasons, though that's just an assumption. It might not build a complete list, but heck, there doesn't seem to be anything else out there.

That's a tricky one. I don't know what to say, because some of these scenes actually don't look like hugs (like the very first one in the video, with Applejack and Twilight). But, if you're doing this seriously, I'd suggest you to note them too. If you don't want to use them later, it'll be easier to discard them than to rewatch everything again if you change your mind.

Plenty useful, but also frustrating in terms of what is and what isn't counting as a hug. For instance, according to that list Discord hugs Twilight in S2E1, which is something I didn't note at all and having a quick skim through, I don't see where said hug is in the episode either.
I might continue to just do it my way, but I'll feel a bit foolish if everything I need is already there since it'd be a bit wasteful.

I liked Newbie Dash. One of the reasons I enjoy RD's interactions with the Wonderbolts is because they show her vulnerable side like that. I love her being the supreme avatar of awesome most of the time, but I like having something else that makes her seem less one dimensional. It's relatable too. I mean, who doesn't turn into a complete loser when they meet their idols? Part of growing up is coming to grips with the fact that those we place on pedestals like that are really just normal folks too, but its hard not to be reduced to a starstruck drooling mass of autism even if you've tried to psych yourself up. I dunno if you've ever made an ass of yourself to try to impress someone, but the cringe is all to real.
I'm glad to see her develop more even if it is painful to watch sometimes.

I can dig that. I wasn't imagining it as a show off thing. More of a sexually repressed, inexperienced thing combined with high sensitivity to pleasure in certain areas. Now that it's quiet, I have something to say.

The whole "Rainbow Dash is a pure virgin" thing is stupid. I really don't get it. And I wouldn't mind if it wasn't because "some" of the supporters of that headcanon (He Who Mustn't Be Named and his followers) like to call a cuck to anybody who thinks otherwise. "Rainbow Dash is a virgin, she hasn't been with anyone, she hasn't even masturbated". Fuck me, I don't find that sexy, that's plainly sad. That almost means "she'll only love me if she doesn't know anything else". Fuck that. Yeah, the right turn into the weird was supposed to be as shocking for the reader as it was for the characters. Hope I didn't overdo it. Also, I love writing lore style stuff that doesn't interfere with established canon so I'm glad you're enjoying that and I promise I'll try not to lay it on too thick.

Also, wow. New Episode. On first view, I'm not a fan. It was pretty standard silly antics with a moral for five year olds (so not out of the show's wheelhouse per se) but the characters aside from Twilight and Rarity seemed either forced or OOC. Aside from Applejack's weird retardation returning from Somepony To Watch Over Me, Rainbow Dash suddenly being extra girly was weird. Not necessarily wrong, but it's unexplored and no explanation made it feel forced and out of character to me.
That's my two cents anyways.
