A) The health system is fine as it is, your just making it too complex.
B) The Exp. system needs to be tested on lower level minions before it's deemed good or bad.

I would rather it be someone experienced in combat, like Jack or Krono or someone else who isn't new. No offense to newfags, this is just a kinda big thing.
As for the percentages; imagine three guys are Fine, Hurt, and Injured respectively. Of course you're going to put the strongest guys first and heal the beaten. But if you have them 82%, 55%, and 23%, you can heal them to certain points (like 23% to 40% using a specific amount of the potion, and 55% to 80%), place them in different areas according to how much they can take, and so on.
