I can't think of many quest MCs who are particularly interesting characters. I mean Renne of the famed Renne quest isn't very interesting. The rest of them sort of just has a generic archetype the players usually stick with that would make them boring as actual characters.

So, I just got this E-mail and I feel like I should say something here because this has more to do with this place than my personal blog. Also I've learned that someone is bound to repost it anyway.
I don't think that I would be the best person to continue Colorblind.
For one, I would have to read through all of Colorblind, which may take a while. Also, from what I have read, Colorblind has a strange format that I would probably have to get used to to run it properly. From what I've read about Colorblind on this thread it seems like it's more of a psychological thriller and to do that right you need to have a consistent narrative pace. Unfortunately in my CYOAs are paced like a toy car with a pullback motor, which my posts in Vamp are a good example of as well as most of 11-54 which I only recently tried slowing down and forcing the players to solve problems with the environment in a relatively safe place, because I was a little disappointed with how little thought the players were putting in after I finished up Entrapment.I really wish I could get people to start paying attention to the environment again to help them solve problems.
Now from what I've read here it sounds like Colorblind is the kind of quest that has a level of surreal disconnect, that makes the world a mix of real and imaginary that the players would have to sort through, even though I would like to do something like that, last time I tried was during that terrible Halloween special I tried to do and I remember how bad I was at handling that.
Also, I've got two of my own quests that I'm running, I'm not sure I can take on three.

That said, how would you guys feel if I ran for a few days starting tomorrow? Unfortunately, I won't be home for like 3 or 4 days for New Years, so that would cut into the thread. The alternative would be that I start back up right after New Years.

Dude, You didn't run anyone off. I personally just didn't have any inspiration to continue after the players were put into a situations when they lost their goal of killing Fierce Fang. What I kinda wanted out of vamp was to make it more of a detectivey type of quest with a truckload of grit and a series of clues research leading to a dungeon crawl through Fang's castle and ending with a standard boss fight. From what I read, you and the other QMs took the story in a direction that more of the players wanted and not the sudo-noir in Las Vegas quest I had started laying the ground work for.
