I watch all of these shows except for TTG. That really does fucking suck. Steven Universe is trying too hard to tug at my heartstrings at times, but Gravity Falls is a better show than MLP:FiM. Rick and Morty is okay, but Season 2 had plenty of shit episodes. We Bare Bears is an okay show, but nothing too special. Star vs The Forces of Evil was an alright show until the finale, which completely blew me away.

Now if Alex Hirsch manages to do outdo himself with the next part of Weirdmageddon, I might start considering Gravity Falls to be my favorite cartoon.

I doubt /co/ is going to care, though.

The thing is it isn't a second gen in a true sense nor is it a parody. For some reason MLP is the only fandom to use "gen" to mean entirely new shows, but that has more to do with the fact that it's a toyline first and foremost until recently....TTG is it's own show that features the same characters, just like Batman TAS, The Batman, Beware The Batman, Brave and The Bold, etc etc are all different shows...not Batman gen 1,2, 3 etc

I'm a little worried about Gravity Falls. So far it feels like the finale has just been Dipper and co. running away from things in Bill's crazy town with a bunch of jokes thrown in, which seems too simple for a show that focuses on mystery as much as this one.
