ITT: Viable ways of governance in the lawless wastes.
Well essentially, what I'm looking at on youtube is that horses will bite, tear, and kick when fighting, leaving gashes and broken bones all over. While most fics seem to be like a terminator fight, where its basically throw the opponent far enough away they leave you alone or buried and immobilized.
Whereas I'm looking at it as a much more violent bloody affair of like you, grapples, breaks, and biting and tearing. Its more of to me, the difference between a pretty boy slap fight with nothing really happening, and WWE stunts with blood bags, razors, and markers so it looks much worse than it is giving a feel the fight is actually to the death. Its sort of the simple thing, like mentioning dust caking in a bite wound, and the sting of it making it hard to focus.
As opposed to "got bucked in the chest, felt woozy, eyes went black before I hit the floor".
'Course the challenge is putting in the parts without edge.
Also, for an Enclave squads, would the leader be a sergeant?
Rule by an iron hoof?
"Tyranny" and other such one pony strongman governments would work very well in the wasteland, much better than disaster democracy.
On the other hand, I don't think egalitarian ideals would ever take off since ponies are clearly not created equal, much less different but same.
I would say most stable descendants would continue the monarchy/dictatorial setup since they are used to it and its been going on for centuries now.
I've always like the headcanon that it's very difficult to hold something with TK if there's other forces acting on it. The original fic did it with pegasi flapping their way out of TK fields. This would make actually shielding blows via TK difficult, but not impossible.
My thought was that since items had to be decelerated when caught, but had no apparent issue to outside forces, is that an object can move itself internally to the magic, but external forces don't matter.
Sort of like stuff in space, no outside forces, just the internal ones.
Thus a buckler shield is just as good if its made of steel, but a shaken can of soda would rocket off when opened.
Thus the big reason flight is hard is that the magic is moving internally and externally to itself, constantly having to be recast to move you before you push out of the envelope. Essentially flight being a very rapid magic stutter, hence why its so taxing versus just lifting something of equal weight and walking around.
Doesn't make sense to me. You pick something up and I wack it, it should move. Force doesn't just disappear. Unicorns shouldn't have infinite grip on what they're holding just because it's not trying to move itself.
The lazy answer is magic or saying its like Captain America's shield.
The fun answer is that it's spacial manipulation and you are trying to overcome a gravity gradient courtesy of the spell.
Thus you can have TK tug of war where the strength of the unicorn can matter in pulling stuff around.
My opinion, TK is practicalized gravity manipulation ala the Albecurrie drive
If that were the case unicorns would never lose melee fights. They could grab whatever weapon their opponent was using and, because external forces don't matter, take it off them and kill them with it.
Which seems to happen already with combat trained unicorns.
Remember, I am talking of someone with training, not a Stable escapee.
Its much like saying anyone can punch and thus fuck someone up, but it takes a lot of training to get it right and actually fuck someone up over just making them angry or scared.
It's really not the same thing. The kind of training you're talking about is literally just knowing how TK works. A unicorn could figure that out on their own as a child.
TK is already a superpower. Bare that in mind before you start giving it abilities well beyond anything normal.
An a person figures out how to punch on their own.
Its not a super power when every unicorn has it, plus the cantrip of levitation is a taught thing in FOE. Unicorns don't pop out of the womb ready to levitate, they have to study and learn how its done.
Khat basically made unicorns raw magicka sources by birth, they have to learn and figure out what to do with the power, much like learning to walk or how to use your fingers to make a jet engine.
The comparison doesn't work. A person does not learn how to strike to kill effectively on their own as a child. If your theory was true a unicorn could easily to so. You show me a unicorn that doesn't levitate things and I'll agree it's not an ability as simple and common as learning to talk.
Its stated by Khat, the first thing learned is the Cantrip of Levitation by Pip as she is ruminating her lack of magic in the Stable.
Learning to talk is a difficult thing, observe how many in this thread find it difficult, and yet have plenty of time to formulate, compose and revise their ideas.
Then see what happens in real life with abandoned kids or "ghetto" style speech. It is very easy to make noises as cave man grunts, very hard to learn to enunciate and pronounce words properly and in succession.
Consequenting, a unicorn could be taught quickly TK at the same level as yes, no, food, and so on for a toddler to speak, while the buckler shield is up there with an oratory class and speech composition.
>enclave squads commanded by a sergeant
On the one hand, the Enclave seems really officer heavy, in terms of numbers. On the other, it needs to be determined what actually constitutes a "squad."
As of current thinking, it would be 10 per squad... but with Power Armour, I think it would be reasonable to have that be more analogous to an armoured formation than traditional infantry, with a "squad" consisting of four ponies in this case. In that light, yeah, it would probably be a sergeant, one of 2+ squads under the higher command of an LT or 2LT in charge of the overall platoon.
Doesn't have anything to do with your theory. If something gripped is immovable, it would not be something that required complex training. If everything held in a right hand was immovable, everyone throughout history would have used shields in that hand and it would be extremely common knowledge because the practicality of it is immense.
Fucking syths stealing all of our jobs
So like, the Institute's doing other shit besides just making robo-slaves, yeah? I mean are they using them to subvert other factions ala the synths in Wasteland 2? My memory of that whole quest in Fallout 3 is foggy, was it said the Institute did anything other than science stuff and create Android laborers?
>”Do you even know where your friend was ambushed, or are you just guessing?”
>You took another look around, doing a quick sweep of your surroundings. There were no signs of the griffons around any of the old, collapsed and scorched houses.
>Back in the city, you didn’t have any luck finding the ponies you saved, so you and Wind Wave had gone south to Fetlock. It had taken a few hours to get there, and you had searched around for a few more hours.
>Now the sun was beginning to drop lower and lower in the sky.
“No, he never told me where he was attacked, but I know it happened in Fetlock. Those griffons should still be in this area, especially if they lost three of their own around here.”
>”These suburbs go on forever, though. Who knows if we’re even in the right area?”
“We don’t know, that’s why we’re searching all—”
>You froze, shutting your mouth as you were interrupted by a distant explosion. It echoed through the destroyed neighborhood, and was immediately followed by the rattle of automatic weaponry.
>Another explosion drowned out the gunfire for a moment, only for it to return louder than before.
>You shared a glance with Wind Wave.
A) Go see who's fighting.
B) Sit and listen. Wait for the fighting to stop, then go check it out.
C) Start moving in the opposite direction of the gunfire.

Consuming your own species for sustenance is cannibalism. Vore (whole or partial) is a fetish and consuming your own species because you're fucked up in the head and you get a sexual thrill out of it.
That's what Volrathxp went with in Starlight or whatever. I dunno, I didn't read it. Twilight expy protag doesn't draw me in at all, and neither does a hackneyed "band of bad guys named after/represent the seven sins" idea.
One month later...
I hope you guys are alright with a small time skip, lost everything I had when I had to reinstall windows
After a bad chain of luck you find yourself trapped in an office room, either feral ghousl are pounding at the door or undead door to door salesponies, you dont know which one is worse.
Because anon I never expected windows to not let me boot up wehen i changed my motherboard. Didn't even let me create a new partition despite the fact it let me choose that option. it was also a bunch of sai files of sketches of what I had planned for a bit, mostly filler though.
Im also gonna change up the style to get these out alot faster, gonna have more focus on anatomy since i need to get gud at that.
You look out the window and see that it's quite a long way down, though there appears to be metal beams connecting the toppled scyscraper with the one you are currently in.
what do you do?
Will continue the cyoa, and for lot longer on sunday and monday, just wanted to see if people are alright with the style and time skip.
Looks like Alloy needs to step up her marketing game.
Thanks for requesting, Stealth!
Oh my god, my eyyyyyyes....
Does anyone have all the art prizes from the July Writing contest?
Because I don't, and I've been meaning to put them up on the TFTW tab for a while.
And if there's a specific website link to source it, gimme dat too.
is one for ghoul marksman story.
And here's the one for Below.
The one for TTWHD is here: https://derpiboo.ru/950246?scope=scpe12492f603c5b8240507ea6a89d09c1df3087aff2

Millions of people die every year from AIDs but I don't like thinking about tragedies like that all the time.
More that Homage was her first option. She was lonely and went for the very first pony that offered herself up. But it's somewhat true to life, because you can't really go around saying "Hey, are you a lesbian" to random attractive females without getting slapped or something similar. There's no Lesbians Anonymous in the wasteland, and without a craigslist as mentioned...
How many here genuinely enjoyed Project Horizons to the end? If so, why?
i like blackjack more than i dislike the bad turn the story took
oh god why that fucking eldritch demon shit somber
also i dont watch anime so i didnt notice the ripoffs
Rampage? Or Blackjack?
My thought was more that it leads to murder and devouring the corpse/swallowed whole. Hence why I was asking the difference.
Partly because actually killing first ruins any chance to talk and plead that its not right.
I did some stuff and now i hate it slightly less.
If only I had the power to do more.
Part of it is crap writing, part of it can be argued that Pip was just that lonesome. Her heart's desire was utter straight, and had no desire to go back to the stable or anything else Pip wanted.
She couldn't go back in without Velvet, most likely never even then, and was suck in a strange new world mostly out to kill her, remaining parts just wanting to injure. Homage was the first one she found that was also lessy, and frankly, I still say it was the Twilight Society messing with both.
Ooh, what if Pip never existed? We only find out about her through the broadcast at the very end, never see a body, and all members did go into a place steeped in mind control magic and manipulation.
What if all of FOE as it happened was an inception just to make Homage stick around and people not to actually ask too many questions on how things really went down in the past 2 months?
Thus you get why PH is so off, Anywhere but Here with drunk Pip, and so on. The Pip we read about is not the real Pip, just an actor to sell us how great the NCR is and how totes dead Red Eye is, no need for the CM of him or Colonel Autumn to be shown as proof of their defeat.
>10 is a face card
>what fucking version of poker are those idiots supposed to be playing?
That's 5 card draw. Y'know, the real poker. The one everyone used to play before Texas Hold'em became so popular that everyone forgot about it.
Damnit Rampage is probably the only PH character that was remotely interesting. But of course Somber fucked it all up.
I'd call it a "Unicorn" automatic pistol
You come across a distressed dashite trying to cut her fetlocks, sobbing and wishing there was a better way. The last thing she sees before going into shock is your horn lighting.

Tickle his doughy ponut with his wings anon.
Because he is a sissy subby bottom that loves it when some crotch tits caress his back and get pressed flat as he is rutted.
But she has clearly chosen to end her life, is it ethical?
What of morality?
If we save her, we'll have to take care of her since she is clearly a threat to herself.
And let's not discount that she could be violent with us for not letting her die.
Well maybe we can convince her there's things she can still accomplish in the wasteland.
Things to live for and keep her fighting spirit going.
And that she's pretty. Follow the Forage principle of calling pegasus mares pretty.
>all the terrible robot/android/synth stories that will crop up after FO4 drops
Celestia protect us.
>Crystal Eclair gains legitimacy
An interesting thought, but what remains is what to do of her sliced forehooves and lost blood.
While we could manage the cuts with some tourniquets and fabric to help clots, the tendons would be cut and she has likely lost too much blood to fly as is.
If you ever accuse me of promoting that hot garbage again I'll cut you.
We need to rehabilitate her.
Small steps, encouragement, while getting her to regain her abilities from her own strength and willpower.
And make her our waifu. I mean. uh. strongly encourage her to become that by her own volition.
Once upon a time there was an angry faggot who did. He still needs to write it though.
That's putting things much too far ahead. I suggest focusing more on the exsanguiating part so she can live long enough to get there.
Well unless we want a necrowaifu.
Say, what if we pull her soul out and bind it to ours?
You look down at the pegasus while hovering out a needle gun. She has a soft azure mane and charcoal body with light grey freckles. You load a cartridge of adrenaline into it as you take some of your tails off to make a set of tourniquets below her knees. Holding her legs above her head, you plunge the point of the syringe into her heart and pull the trigger.
She opens a pair of clouded vermilion eyes, their listing evident of her lost blood. You can feel a faint pulse in her, but she doesn't have much blood left.
You wish you still had a full surgical suite for the very pretty mare, but such reminiscing on that or the possibility of foals will have to wait until she is healthier.
Her spilt blood has already seperated into the soil, you note sadly. You have no idea of her blood type or how long she can last like this.
>You sit on your haunches, wondering what to do.
Well, you would be short on breath due to your diaphragm being unsupported. You would also feel sick and have a bad case of stomach cramps.
So I don't think you'd be paying much attention to how squishy they are.
Not really, there's body disaphoria and the fact vaginas can be called a bleeding cleaved wound.
Its part of where the idea of a raider fuck slit being a piece of the belly slit open and fucked by a raider came from.
Though granted as I remember that was an actual historical thing allegedly.
Yeah, I don't feel any pain in the dreams, but it's clearly not a normal thing to be aroused by. There doesn't seem to be any accompanying problems, as in I'm generally normal so I'm not really worried.
I don't even play fall out, but I was planning on buying the 4th one, you are a prick
I find this hard to believe as the developers have already said you would be able to play after the end and unless the whole game becomes like the Lonesome Road bonus dungeon, this seems absolutely ludicrous.
Enjoy that denial. But if you desperately need more proofs, I'm digging up the leaked ending dialogue for you right now.
Here you go. Here's a key line right at the beginning.
>I feel the heat, the radiation, the fear...Again
Also at 1:30 the second ending dialogue plays mentioning how your son is now kill
That's why it's odd, though.
I mean, thematically, especially with the whole focus on the Synth thing and how the actual explosion thing looked, an EMP of some kind would make more sense as a 'fuck you' from the Institute to the factions arrayed against it.
It's odd that some seven or so years after 3 they'd do the exact same thing.
>You stayed still.
>The sounds of distant fighting continued. You kept your ears perked up.
“Let’s wait for it to stop, then we’ll go check it out.”
>”Good. I was going to say, there’s no way you’re making me go toward that.”
>You sat down, facing the direction of the battle. You tried to figure out what was going on based on sound alone.
>All you could make out was an exchange of automatic gunfire punctuated by explosions. You thought you could hear different types of gunfire, different rates of fire, but at this distance you couldn’t be sure. It was all just noise.
>It quickly began to slow down, the bursts becoming less and less constant. After another minute, the last burst of fire sounded, only to be drowned out by one final boom.
>After the echoes of the explosion had dissipated, the balefire scorched neighborhood fell silent.
>Your ears swiveled around, searching for some other sound. All you could hear was Wind Wave’s breathing, as well as your own.
>You stood up and stared down the street. It ended in a cul de sac, but past the house at the end was likely a street that lead straight to the scene of the fight.
>You stood up.
“Alright… let’s go.”
>Wind Wave looked at you like you were insane.
>”Did you hear those explosions? We can’t win against whoever just won that fight.”
>She just seemed apprehensive, the mare holding her head low. At least she wasn’t yelling or hitting this time.
“We’re not going to fight them, we’re just going to see who they are—and stay out of sight, of course. I bet those are the griffons.”
>”And what if they aren’t and we’re discovered? Or hell, even if they are the griffons we’re looking for, what are we supposed to do? Walk right up to them after they’ve just killed ponies and hand them a letter?”
>You offered her a calm smile.
“They won’t see us. And we’ll worry about how to deal with them once we see who they actually are. I promise I’m not going to do anything dangerous.”
>She didn’t respond right away.
>If Wind Wave didn’t want to come, she could just wait here. She would certainly be useful to have along if the griffons questioned you too much, though.
>Wind Wave sighed and took a step toward you.
>”Alright, fine. But we’re only going to take a look. You don’t do anything without my say.”
“That works for me.”
>You started walking.
“Now, follow me and keep quiet.”
>You kept off the street, going through what used to be backyards. There weren’t many obstacles—all the fences had long since fallen, rotted, or been scorched away. There were a few swimming pools, but they were filled with stagnant, brown water.
>You knew the general direction of the fighting, but not exactly where it had taken place. You remained alert, your head on a constant swivel.
>You peeked in between houses out into the street, trying to spot bodies or some other sign of a fight.
>After walking for a few minutes, you began to consider turning back and searching along another row of houses.
>Before you could do that, though, Wind Wave hit you lightly on the shoulder.
>You stopped and looked at her. She kept her mouth closed and pointed to her ears with a hoof.
>You sat down and listened carefully to your surroundings. Again, all you could hear was your own breathing. There wasn’t even any wind.
>You heard distant noises. They sounded like hoofsteps, only louder and heavier.
>You needed to get closer.
>But you really didn't want to...
Megaton was a little scrap metal shanty town, according to that anon, a major metropolitan area with assumedly multiple settlements would end up a radiation-filled cesspit.
Things just seem wonky to me even for lolBethesda standards.
I'll believe it when I see it. Wouldn't be my first case of buyer's remorse.
>You took a deep breath in an attempt to calm your nerves.
>You gestured to a nearby house with a tip of your head and proceeded toward it, Wind Wave following close.
>You walked in through the wide open back door and moved to the front of the house.
>Once in the living room, you found that half of the front of the house was missing, the walls were just… gone. The damage was recent, too; some of the boards were still smoking.
>Outside, there was a small crater in the street, no doubt the result of an explosion.
>You got down low as soon as you saw movement outside, about fifty yards away. You heard Wind Wave drop down to the ground behind you as well.
>Two metal-clad ponies stood in the aftermath of a battle, their weapons’ barrels still smoking. All around them were their slain foes; bodies dressed in improvised and mismatched armor.
>You ignored the bodies. They weren’t important.
>You instead focused on the two living ponies in power armor. You had grown to fear the very sight of it, but the red accents that adorned it made you hesitate from turning and slinking off.
>These weren’t Steel Rangers. They were Applejack’s Rangers.
A) Call out to them.
B) Watch them and wait.
C) Leave as silently and quickly as possible.
Frozen Skies Update today! I promised "Friday," and I made good on it. Barely.
Paralogue 01: Of the Works of Mice and Mares...
You might wanna get a prereader to take a look at it, or double-check how the formatting turned out when you transferred it over to Fimfic. I'm not particularly far in and have noticed several errors, like this:
“I heard they've done the census.”they’vetifled a surprised noise, glad that the meal hall was as empty as it was. It was getting to be that time of year, wasn't it? I’d kind of lowasn’tck since the last time. “Already?” I asked, realization slowly dawning that there were more important questions to be asked. “Are we over?” I almost hissed, eyes wide.
She nodded slowly, “510, from what I heard.”
That wasn't good. The Stable cwasn’tnly support 500 ponies at a time - the Overseers told us so. Much as we tried to keep to that number as much as possible… accidents happened. Foals were the future of our stable, and we weren't about to limit ouweren’te. So, every year if we’re over the population limit… well, we had to send ponies away. To scout the surface, as our department heads informed us.
Okay, I figured out what it was. Apparently formatting for autocorrect is 100% fucked when trying to interact within the editing field of fimfiction. Should be fixed now, but I'm going through the rest.
A) We have nothing to fear from them and they'd know potential rivals in the area since they're likely to patrol their territory.
sadly we lack cutting tools necessary for steelie cuddles
I have a somewhat related question that I figured this thread would be best able to answer- was thinking of starting a a FOE based Quest thread. Quests seem to be a /tg/ thing, but the site rules say all pony stuff is to stay here. So to comply with the rules, I'd probably have to post that quest on /mlp/ right?
Really liking the shared journal.
A nice way to get the early story and backstories in while making me anxious to see where they currently are.
Oh shit. Poor Spring. Let's hope Crafter didn't flip back to read those early entries.
>Upon inspection (of the faucet)
Crafter's a lovable goof as usual.
And I love how you convey his obliviousness.
Welp. Physical violence, now stuff's getting serious.
Shit. Well, now we know why Crafter and Spring were outside.
Still kind of exciting to see Crafter use his wits to land some good hits.
Okay this is interesting to see them going through this area before Bernard's Angels.
Stable punks, no match for beefy hardened raiders.
Welp. They never stood a chance. RIP stable ponies.
And thus he got to meet the ragtag group of ponies on their own mission.
Noted for the next recent updates section.
Speaking of which, I now face the problem of the american regular thread poster stopping.
I can still keep up at a good enough pace, but as the last week's double thread death showed, I gotta sleep too at some point.
F4 seems to be becoming a big disappointment.
>No weapon Degradation
>Recycled animation straight from Skyrim and Fallout 3.
>None of the VATS bugs from 3 or NV fixed. And since VATS is hardcoded into the engine they cannot fix it, these bugs will never be patched.
>Mass Effect dialogue wheel 100% confirmed and is limiting. The little blurb doesn't actually give a good idea how you're going to say it. Be prepared for many instances of [Glass him] like mix ups.
>Lip Sync and character models look like complete garbage. Fucking Turok for the N64 had better lip sync.
>Game looks 5 years dated at the least
>11 minutes to go from one corner of the map to the next. Half the size of Fallout 3.
>The rest of the map is just water.
And probably the worst one out of all of them
>Skyrim (possibly Oblivion) tier level scaling
>A low level Super Mutant is not only pathetically easy to kill, but they actually give out LESS XP than a slightly higher scaled Molerat. 8xp vs 13xp.
>'Legendary' is just part of the leveling naming system
>New wonderful mechanic. 'The X has mutated!' Which just shows a big flash of yellow and no visual indicator or change of character model. Then the enemy regains all their health.
>No Energy Weapon perks. They all just get clumped into the generic 'not melee' perks that increase damage.
Weapon degradation is fine with me to get rid of. Especially since there's going to be so many craftable weapons anyways. I'd rather not just keep a horde of the same weapons in my locker and just keep repairing them.
WHY IS EVERYONE SO RETARDED! WHY DON'T PEOPLE KNOW WHAT THAT PHRASE MEANS!
I'm not a huge fan of the new system, but it seems pretty cut and dry what things will mean.
>Half the size of Fallout 3
Map size is unimportant so long as there's actual things to do in it. Fuel's world was huge, but it was so boring.
It is funny how dated the engine is though.
How do you think the exslave tag worked from serving Red Eye?
Was it just some marker that people learned not to fuck with after some examples were made?
Something with magic in it that stopped any slave attempts?
If you didn't have one, then that would make you fair game as a slave right?
So about the only safe ones going to a slave auction would actually be the exslave, as anyone else could be kidnapped/enslaved on the spot?
Oh good, have this Relentless. Got it from PG's stream.
Some guy got FO4 working on his PC and is streaming the whole game.
It's time to pony up and show /fog/ who's boss! (/
>tfw both games are now dead on arrival
No surprise, remember the order?
Pure shit and hailed as something great.
No surprise the Library of Congress is saying nocd and server bypasses are allowed now for games not being sold.
Interns be wanting some fun and not this dreck.
You can play all your DRM locked stuff using the Pirate Bay now, so long as you actually bought it. But only single player, multiplayer servers aren't allowed yet.
Once MP is allowed, a lot of current shit games are DOA if they can't actually be improvements since people can easily stay with the old game and mod it.
minutes to go from one corner of the map to the next. Half the size of Fallout 3.
Hes sprinting in that video you mong. A thing that didnt exist in 3. Its about the size of Skyrims map all things considered
Fuck, I want /v/ to leave
Thats not my point. my point is that "half the size of 3" is pure bullshit.
I dont care what people think about the game, but that statement is just not true.
Oh yeah, also there are no "no melee" perks, there is perks for what kind of gun you use, meaning theres a perk that will make you better at using one handed weapons, or two handed, or bolt-action rifles.
Which makes more sense then beeing a sharpshooter with a rifle, but not beeing able to hit shit with another rifle because it fires lasers instead of bullets.
There IS energy weapon perks for crafting though, aswell for firearms
Seriously man, next time do some research
Yeah, one thing I will say is it always bothered me when your guy was a crack shot with a revolver but could barely kill a radroach with a laser pistol.
Guns are guns. Familiarity with them in general will effect your ability to use one a lot more than the nature of the projectile.
Would /foe/ still read a fic with a great story and a original setting but lacking on the narrative aspect?
I am good at storytelling in general but not so good into translating those ideas into paper since english isn't my fist language
Already have the story thought but i have rewritten the first 3,000 words around five times because they don't feel very good or natural
Makes sense in one way, but not the other. If you've been trained on a rifle, then you should be good with energy weapons. But if you are used to lasers flying at light speed then you've never learned to compensate for movement/gravity.
I saw that! It's great to see Crafter getting a jab in at Fade for once (at least, I think that's what's happening. Is he stealing his caps? Dangerous. I like it.)
It's also super cute.
Ladies, there's enough of me to go around
but only if you pre-order! Next week is seriously going to be the death of me, though. There were like three separate reasons why I had to get that chapter out yesterday. If you hear about a Canadian braining themselves 'cuz they passed out on Cenotaph duty on the 11th... don't laugh too hard. It might be me.
Getting ready to pop a paperbag next to a sleeping Fade. To "help" with his memory recall.
But if its more adversarial, sure its Crafter stealing Fade's caps. A bit different from the timid seeming Stable unicorn.
Is this a shipping of me and Riddles? Cause we haven't fucked or done clop together. Like at all.
Senpai will never grace my properly teased and trussed up toosh to put the pegaslave in his place.
Given how much he yells at me to shutup in the IRC just for saying hello, is there one for seeing an object of love as pure trash?
Cause that's about the closest you'll get between us. I'm a virgin straight God fearing Hispanic male living in the US. I only have love for things with tits and a vagina deep enough you'll find a bunch of refugees camping outside it demanding entrance into the UK.
Grumpily you rubbed at your ear, bits of caking blood coming from the larger hole in it. Some asshole of a slaver had decided you were just the bit of merchandise he needed and tried to rip off your tag. Luckily one of the guards had been nearby and managed to stop him. You hated the slave markets, only a bit less than when you had actually been one of the products here. All that kept you from rejoining was the tag on your ear and a guard willing to honor it. Still, you were running a business and needed more bodies. Artifact recovery paid you very well, though the turnover was quite high. Most ponies seemed to have a distinct like to go mad and shoot each other over some shiny treasure rather than finish a few jobs and all go home much richer. You shook your head at the thought and kept walking toward the main amphitheater for the latest arrivals.
Most of the products were in a disheveled state, suffering from malnutrition and disease from long before their procurement. Several had clear signs of communicable diseases that led to you informing the guards of this issue. It was a shame they responded with incinerators and flamers, but plague was nothing to be gentle with in the cramped quarters. You’d been hit with the feather flu once when traded at a smaller auction and nearly died from it. The rest of your squad did. Your wings ruffle a bit as you pray quietly to the winds to watch over them in the afterlife. Moving on you find some of the new entries into the slavery business, small time outfits that seek to cash in on the loser of a fight, or those foolish enough to expect help in the wasteland.
Most of them were too damaged for what you needed, missing limbs, poorly healed bullet holes, and frequent gashes that would only be infected. Few had been broken as you needed, most just cowered quietly or sobbed. A few stare at you, pleading to be rescued only to be knocked about by their owners.
Looking around you see a unicorn and another pegasus yoked together. They appear in good health though something seems wrong with the pegasus’s forehooves. A close look shows that they had been slit at some point and the tendons severed. Motioning, you get her minder to make her trot in place as you watch. She resists at first but a few prods with a stunner to the wing get her moving. She is very unsteady and unable to properly move her hooves anymore. Looks pretty though you think, debating if its time you got yourself a pleasure slave. Across the aisle are a pair of earth pony fraternal twins that catch your eye. They’re strongly built and in excellent condition, they’d easily last through a tour of artifact recovery, much less the few jobs you had in mind. Talking with the owner finds that they are former Steel Ranger from some chapter called Applejack’s Rangers that popped up recently. You’d heard of them, a group with more charity than brains.
>Which pair do you choose?
Guys, let's take a moment to be grateful for one thing.
Fallout 4 may have a shit ending. It may end up buggy as fuck. That dog may not care it's on fire. Todd may be a bold faced liar with his head up his ass.
BUT IT CAN'T BE WORSE THAN THIS PIECE OF SHIT
MINI NUKE GRENADES, PEOPLE
Given there was an ask on an Indiana Jones CYOA 2 posts up, its probably that.
So we can buy Applejack Rangers that would be great for DPS or we can get a buffer and damaged scout.
We also admit guns are needed, so the twins look good.
>earth pony stronk
The mood in Appleoosa was subdued. A whole caravan of slaves had been wiped out after being sent from the town and their benefactors in Fillydelphia were not pleased.
Dinner was just beginning in the guardhouse of, when a slaver burst in.
"Boss, Stern's representative has just arrived and she is demanding to see you at once!"
Setting his knife and fork down, Manacle stood up with a start, a scowl adorning his face.
"Well she has some nerve showing up like this and thinking she can just push us around!" The big earth pony spat. " I think Stern's little friend might be in for a little accident, what do you think fellas?" The other slavers in the room grinned and voiced their approval, all save the runner, who was looking around the room wide eyed.
"I-I don't think that's going to happen." The runner stammered.
"And why is that?" Manacle boomed. "We can deal with some jumped up bean-counter from Filly any day!" Before the runner could respond, the door to the guardhouse was slammed open by a telekinetic wave of force and everypony fell quiet, mouths agape as a tall figure swept in.
Possessing wings, a horn and regal stature marked the newcomer as an Alicorn, just like the fabled princesses of old. Unlike the princesses, this dark green pony radiated malice and the slavers felt a chill creep down their spines at the cold, calculating intelligence she regarded them with, as a pony would observe an insect they were about to squash.
"Who's in charge here?" The Alicorn demanded, her horn glowing dangerously.
"I am." Manacle said, trying to look bold and fearless before his underlings. The other slavers stood in a rush, daring not disrespect the towering creature before them.
"Incompetent weakling." The Alicorn spat, a bolt of light erupting from her horn and striking Manacle in the face, the magical energy blasting apart his head and striking with such force that his almost headless body careened backwards, knocking over his chair in the process. The boom in the enclosed guardhouse was almost deafening. The slavers at the table were spattered with a drizzle of blood and tissue, but none of them dared move a muscle. Not even to wipe the pieces of brain from their faces.
The alicorn stalked from the doorway around the table and two heavily armed gryphons bearing Talon insignia took position either side of the entrance. Reaching the head of the table, the Alicorn moved Manacle's limp corpse away with an almost dismissive wave of her horn and set the chair upright. Sitting down, the chair creaked under the monster's weight.
"Who is," the Alicorn asked, a note of pure danger in her voice, "second in command here. For example, if the pony in charge of this operation were to suddenly be deprived of brain activity?"
There was a nervous silence around the room. The Alicorn picked up Manacle's discarded fork, speared a piece of seared Radroach meat from his plate. She delicately put it in her mouth, oblivious of the speckles of fresh blood covering the food, the fork, the plate and the table. She chewed, savouring the taste and swallowed. "Do you think We have all day?" The alicorn said, almost as if bored. "I do need to know who is supposed to be in charge now."
"I am." The pony standing to the Alicorn's left, an earth pony mare, said nervously.
The Alicorn nodded, idly spinning the fork in the air with her telekinesis. Then she moved it with almost unbelievable speed and impaled Barbed Fence's neck with it. Barbed staggered back, clawing at her neck with her hooves and collapsed writhing and vomiting blood.
"Lesson one," the Alicorn said icily, over the sounds of a pony drowning in her own fluids. "When We ask a question, We expect an immediate answer. We are not, by nature, dangerous."
The Gryphons on the door sniggered.
"Oh all right. We are, We really, really are. We are perfectly adapted to this harsh land We find ourselves in, and that requires Us to be lethally dangerous to anything standing in the way of Unity. We are also aware that We often lack subtlety, but We can live with that, as We have found that more overt action often yields better results."
There was a long pause, the other ponies in the room not daring to move a muscle.
"Who is third in command?" The Alicorn asked.
"I am," said the older unicorn stallion to the Alicorn's right, his face heavily spattered with blood.
"Good," the Alicorn nodded, "You are quick and obedient. What is your name?"
"You answered Us promptly, Fixit. You are learning, unlike your unfortunate colleagues. We will not kill you. Unless, perhaps, you are opposed to the Unity towards which we all must strive?"
"I am not."
"We find that most excellent. Fixit, you are now in charge of Appleoosa and the transport operation the town handles on behalf of Red Eye and Unity. You will report directly to Us. Is that understood?" The Alicorn asked almost joyfully as though congratulating Fixit on a hard earned promotion. The unicorn could only nervously nod. "Your first task is to explain why those responsible for the destruction of the caravan were not found."
"We searched the area, there was everything to suggest that the caravan had encountered some wild animals that had overwhelmed them."
The Alicorn laughed mirthlessly. "I know that you have done. What concerns Us is what's not being done. Two whole wagons of slaves and more than half a dozen of what the reports say, of your 'best' guards. Tell me, Fixit, have you read much on the behaviour of wild animals?"
"I can't say I have." The unicorn replied.
"Well, you see it really is rather fascinating," the Alicorn explained, her voice changing slightly in a way no pony could quite put their hoof on, "when on their own, most predators tend to try and avoid being injured by their prey. Normally they would avoid ponies entirely, especially a group. Balefire radiation has had a rather profound effect on a large variety of creatures' morphology and aggression, so attacks of wild creatures on ponies have wildly increased. However, a predator will still tend to only kill one item of prey and remove it, partially to avoid injury and also to avoid disease from storing dead meat for too long. This leads Us to the conclusion that what caused the destruction of the caravan was either a large pack of predators or a very large single animal, which would have been spotted since, or something else."
"I thought I hadn't seen any animal attacks like it." Fixit murmured in agreement.
"Indeed. So something much more dangerous than a wild animal has appeared in this area. Now, call Us old fashioned, but wouldn't that make it a priority for the staff of this operation to find those responsible and obliterate them?"
"I believe it would." Fixit replied.
"Yet... and yet, you're sitting down to dinner."
Fixit risked raising a hoof to wipe away the blood which was slowly trickling into one eye. "I request permission to rectify that at once and form the ponies available into a hunting pattern."
"That would be good," said the Alicorn. "Permission granted."
"When I give my progress report, who should I address it to?" Fixit asked, terrified of having said something which would prove fatal.
"Of course, We appear to have not yet been formally introduced," the Alicorn said, smirking. "You may refer to Us as 'mistress', or if you prefer to use Our name, call us 'Goddess', of whom We are a part in body and soul."
Fixit nodded and stepped back from the table, turning to the other slavers to give orders.
"Fixit?" The Alicorn's voice cut through the air and the unicorn turned back to the Alicorn with an ashen look on his face. The Alicorn levitated a pistol from a holster hanging on a nearby rack and held it out pistol first for Fixit to take in his own magic. "Before you start with that, shut Barbed Fence up, will you? He is making a most awful noise and We fear is will give Us the most terrible headache."
Fixit took the pistol, cleared his throat and moved around the table. Barbed Fence, her face blue, thrashed on the floor in a pool of blood. She weakly pawed at Fixit's ankles with her hooves and her horn sputtered to try and ineffectually wave the gun away. Trying to look dismissive, Fixit shot her between the eyes. The impact dislodged the fork and it landed on the hard floor with a clatter, blending into the ringing of the shot. The grisly gurgling fell silent.
Fixit gave the weapon back to the Alicorn, who promptly holstered it.
"Find me something," the Alicorn told him. "Find me something in twenty-four hours or We shall be making enquiries into the next in line."
tab paragraphs don't work, I'm sorry ;_;
Somebody just tried to spoil FO4 for me by anonymous Tumblr ask, but since you jackasses already did that, it didn't do anything.
This haa been an announcement from the Fuck You Broadcast System.
I'm confused by you. Post 1 introduces who we are and some of Nymph's wierdly practical edge. Post 2 gives us our choice of party members.
He linked them together as is customary for multiposts.
Its like you're the dimwitted retarded brother of hates cyoa anon.
>your are a doctor
>you found a pegasus dying
>no follow up
>pegasus is just alive in next post
>player input was pointless
>also perspective shift for some reason
Oh wait, anon. That's not how prompts or connections work.
Nymph probably ditched it entirely when the FO4 spoiler got posted and just skipped to something new or moved along an obvious path.
I doubt he'd actually kill the pegasus, particuarly after anons wanted her shot, since most were wanting to save her.
I had no intent on that little thing beyond seeing if you could avoid directly killing the pegasus through medical malpractice.
Given that it started nicely, then segued into some one discussing their desire to be erotically disembowled by post 2, I figured there was no point.
Also since you can't exactly ask a nonresponsive victim their blood type, on account of them being nonresponsive.
If its felt that this is problematic, I'll just drop it. Not like you guys have really cared for my past several starter attempts.
Hey the double D team tries guilting with their stuff, maybe it works here.
I am so hype to fuck around with the moddng system, might get inspiration for some FoE guns
They weren't connected in any other way than me just wanting to sum up and reuse the last piece, else it would have been two disheveled griffons who had definitely ended up on the wrong side of Stern from the brand on their neck and a Steel ranger scribe unicorn and earth pony with power armor, both having been made obedient through beatings to their new owner.
But no really, I get it that I do strange and odd things, that many don't like. I can stop and nothing will matter.
Is the b8 in this case opening the tiny thumbnail or believing that's the end?
Frankly this is a no lose situation for this guy because if it's real then he got the rage he was after and if it's fake we've all freaked out over nothing
Considering that she's literally been dealing with the actual personified figure of Death, I think it's safe to say it's a little less grounded in reality than PH anon, even by PH's batshit animu standards..
minutes to go from one corner of the map to the next. Half the size of Fallout 3.
Oh look, 12 minutes for 3, with no sprinting, and unlike the guy in the 4 vid he actually goes all over it instead of kinda downward over the middle
Its basically playing Death from Discworld as the quest giver.
According to the chapter, we are now locked purely into it only gets worse options for the Memories.
And given that there has been a fucking wendigo riding shotgun, a being escaping mortality, we could just be running off him for the rest.
But really, I rather prefer that it just ends here. A simple clear she fucked up.
One vote each, you'll need to choose or say two votes for neither and move on.
We have magically enough caps to get any pair in the market, but only for one pair.
Magical artifact will be decided after the party along with location.
Why do you fucking people need 2 threads?... I've seen you have CYOAs in here before, why does this one need its own fucking thread?
Wasn't one of us. It's just a CYOA though so if it turns into a bumpfest it probably won't spiral out of control.
We have a few CYOA's in here but they're more based on fic lore and story telling. That guy seems to be doing his like a legit rpg. I don't think it'll be a problem imo.
So apparently the Brotherhood of Steel in the game ARE the East Coast edition under new more zealous management.
And the leader dude is named Maxson like the founder of the BoS. Bet your bottom dollar it's so main character can go 'I knew a guy named Maxson once...' and have the Brotherhood jump on him/her for knowing their founder in life.
>tfw Lex despite being the worst author many have ever witnessed gets more attention and more respect then many writers in this fandom
>tfw even the hate he receives is attention taken away from better writers
>tfw there are countless authors of great talent in this fanbase who are just trying to make something good and eventually lose faith and give up.
>tfw your story has been set in pone boston since the beginning
>tfw boston becomes the new NV of wasteland pone fics
>tfw "what's outlaw"
At least now they can't rip off the title of the gane like with New Vegas. I'm sure most people will just roll their eyes if someone did name their fic that way for Boston. However shit goes, I won't give a fuck if a fic is set in Boston. What matters is what it's about not what city they've horsified.
Er, just so I'm clear. I'm not the dick who keeps spoiling everything and that wasn't intended as a spoiler. I'm just the guy who kept getting hype over the idea of it being the Midwestern BoS and felt the need to correct myself.
Need some feedback, is this style alright or should i switch back to the propper one?
You begin making your way slowly to the metal beams, from behind you can hear the door fall down, infront of you the sound of gunfire can be heard in the building you are heading too.
Who said flanamingos looked cute, again?
>Simple impulse motivated animals with no reasoning and no concerns above primal need.
Hows your morning Datte
That brings up a question I've had
Does this also apply to big nasty beasties, like Deathclaws and Mire Lurks, who attack mofos on sight?
And I'm doing gay.
ayy, I love it. Looks like a babbymingo.
You pick up the pace which causes you to stumble a little, thankfully though you make it onto the beam and the ghouls dont seem to know where you are. Gunfire can be heard a few floors below.
All predatorial animals attack on site if they think they can realistically win, no exceptions, they're mindless animals, they live to eat and reproduce, if they're presented with an opportunity to eat, they will because they need to eat and its rare they get to eat a decent level of food overly often.
Thats my headcanon anyway.
That said, Dolphins and Cats have been shown to hunt purely for fun, but this is like two species out of trillions of species on Earth.
Flamingos to me are giant horde animals, like Army ants except the size of Velicoraptors they present their own threat in terms of being a faceless horde of hungry mouths but I mean.
They're no unspeakable eldritch nightmare creatures.
My stuff is still scarier Datte. I'm glad to hear you're having such a nice day.
It very much would work, ye. They even got that little claw that raptors have, and they hunt in packs.
They're actually a bit based on raptors, their movements and stuff.
I explain it as the bird DNA they have mixed in them reverting back into primitive dino-ness through instinct alone.
You find a collapsed floor leading to the source of the gunfire which has now stopped.
Below you, you can see golden skies and two raiders, one of them says to the other "well well looks like we finally caught ourselves a lil' bridie." You could probably take them out with your trusty gun. What do?
What's a suitably dull name for straight man type of character? I had this idea of a group of scavengers being recurring encounters for my main character, with their primary scout being an earth pony so phenomenally unremarkable, he's practically invisible.
The working name for him is 'Duff' short for
"What the shi-"
both raiders go down with two well placed shots to their heads. You walk up to golden skies "You know its supposed to be the valkyrie coming to the rescue of the distressed warrior, not the other way around." this causes her to quitely laugh "I coulda taken them out mudpony.. but thank you. Dont suppose my saviour has any med-x or bandages?" You notice that she's got a few minor cuts on her face but her right wings seems to be bleeding pretty badly, you check inside your saddlebag and check what you've got from scavanging.
9mm bullet x5
enclave brand pegakibble
half empy box of suger apple bombs
is this inventory system alright and is the writing okay? Haven't really done something like this before, just simple cyoa's but I really want to make this a propper story
You attempt to bandage her but she quickly tells you that a mud pony such as yourself should never be allowed to touch such a beautiful pegasus. You decide to offer her some pegakibble which she immediatly grabs and begins digging into."So can I bandage your wing now?" you ask her. "Shur buf if you do anythin funy ill kill you" she says with a mouth full of pegakibble. You wipe some crumbs off your face and begin to bandage her, you also notice it is nighttime now.
This doesn't say anything about alicorns reading normal ponies' minds, only that they are connected to each other telepathically. I think it was just a Goddess thing.
I thought the same but it looks like we were both wrong. Shield, invisibility and teleportation are the three abilities. I don't remember the invisibility one at all, though.
Ask her if she knows the layout of this building well enough to know safe places to sleep. Wouldn't want those raiders' buddies showing up while we're sound asleep
cuddled up close to her.
Right, had some minor discussion on this, will be adding some more groups and better explaining what they are and establishing some character.
Would you guys mind the POV having their own personality and you are more choosing from lists than them just being blank things you decide everything about?
Also if she gets all stingy about spending the night here, calmly remind her she probably can't fly and it'll be safer this way. Give her first watch shift if she's that worried about us betraying her or something.
Moving on, you look at the other offerings on display. You pass over the fillies and colts, you’re businessman, not a caretaker. You do however make inquests to ensure they are being properly cared for and fed, foal slaves are an investment that needs nurturing. To your surprise, an armor booth is operating amongst the slaves, and selling a full suit of powered armor. Your surprise turns to terror when the suit turns to you, the Ranger very much still alive in it.
“Relax turkey, I’m not going to shoot you. Least not unless my owner wants me to.” She says, revving her minigun.
“Stop it Foamy, I’d rather not have my horn tingling for the rest of the day.” A small scribe interjects, his eyes darting around nervously. Grunting the mare turns back to watch the road, and you catch sight of her collar behind the suit’s gorget.
Calming down, you decide to find out some more about the pair.
“So, how did you become slaves?” you inquire sizing up the pair.
“Oh you know, the usual way, sleeping gas grenades.” The scribe chatters, the mare eyeing you with cold hostility. “Hey, you mind buying us? We’d be rather loyal slaves, and I’m pretty good with archanotech.”
“Oh yes, because I can so believe that two unbroken Steel Rangers are so trustworthy.” You start to walk away when the mare suddenly pipes up.
“I see your tag Enclaver. Don’t be surprised, you still carry yourself well for an exslave soldier. Look I know the score, I’m property, nothing more. I just- I’d rather trust another military pony than some Sir Caps a Lot looking to rescue the poor mare for a life time of belly snuggles in return. We’ll be loyal to you. Please, don’t leave us like this.” She hisses the last part out as the master returns, a bottle of water to her lips.
“You wanting to buy-“ she starts, but you’ve already moved on.
You find yourself drawn to a cart advertising itself as penal slavery, and recognize two griffons on display, the branded bomb collars on their haunches doing little but fill you with joy. It was Pluck and Streis, your former masters, now come slaves. You felt some deep pleasure that they had been beaten severely after the time they decided to see how well a one winged pegasus could fly by breaking your wing and throwing you off a hab block in Filly. You were about to feel a lot more though as you made your way to the front of the cage, a bag bouncing in your hoof.
“You two look so hungry after you what, threw Stern’s favorite plaything down a well? No? Oh well I guess then you kept some pony screaming while Red Eye spoke. It’s okay though, I brought you some food.” With that you dumped the bag of bird seed you had been holding onto for 2 years in front of them. At long last you had vengeance for that first night when they had picked the lock on your cage and swapped out your meager rations.
Flush with victory, you got a lunch of a California wrap from a stall and debated on the slaves that were of interest to you
Class types follow at the end of the team. Expect them as sort of your typical MMO designations.
>Team Cadence, a pegasus that can't walk really or be on her legs, but is good with her wing blades and scouting. Unicorn has buffer spells and medical knowledge. Buffer spells will be your typical, ward against x stuff or increase attack speed for the cyoa. Scout/Rogue and Buffer
>Team Skynet, a Steel Ranger scribe and knight with PA. Scribe can hack, and knight will be loyal to you, though she has reservations from your Enclave life. Engineer and Tank
>Team Stern’s Douches, your former griffon masters cum slaves. They can pick locks, but are cowardly sadistic bullies who probably can’t hold their own in a fair fight. “Fair” being rather different when you are a 8 foot catbird. Jack of all trades with lockpicking
>Team Twincest, mindbroken fraternal earth pony twins. Loyal enough to not need collars, but not going to be making any hoof paintings for the fridge soon. Borderline automatons, but will die for you. DPS and DPS
After purchase, we will discuss the artifact and location we are after.

5 dollar store or the ones they had out with company logos.
More bandaids of the wrong type you will never use, moleskin, a pressure wrapping, and some gauze with the shit scissors.
She shows you her outpost at the top of the building, you ask why she setup an outpost here but she scrunches her face and gives you an annoyed look so you quickly drop the subject.
"There's only one small bed so I guess you'll have to share with me mud pony, just dont touch me or cover it in dirt." You both quickly drift off to sleep.
Thats all for today
Well given that medical knowledge in FOE is the same as getting drunk, or stuff complex enough to need a tiny subset of a genocided species, I'm not sure what a unicorn with magic healing can really do.
Have fun with your huge selection of AAA titles.
People who aren't retarded have both.
Aw just realised id have to install flash again, so have a butt instead
I'm going to pray it's just the download and not the physical copy. I swear I saw PS4 leaked gameplay inside buildings (the apparent cause of the drops) and they were functioning fine.
Oh well, it'd be far from the worst example of buyer's remorse I ever had.
That'd be Arkham Knight.
I think most of the leaked copies are reviewer copies bruh (or someone bought them from a shady flee market or game store owner because the game is already shipped in most places). So downloaded or disc does not matter.
