From her blunt way of speaking, hot-bloodedness, surprisingly easy to embarrass side and even a fear of ghosts, Chris reminds me more of Homura, even if there are some key differences.

There's a decent amount of people in these threads on both /m/ and /a/, and there's a regular /u/ threads too but they're slow compared to the other two. There's a dedicated reddit to the show that's managing a wiki for XDU. How hasn't anyone stepped in to make a decent sub option for episodes 8/9?

It's been two weeks now since 8 aired, and pretty much every song already has a translation (I'm pretty sure someone posted a Change the Future translation in one of these threads, not sure about the Tsubasa/Shirabe one). All that really needs to be done is just sub the episode itself, which doesn't really seem too much of an issue compared to any other show airing right now. Fate/Apocrypha and Kakegurui get subs like a day or two after airing, so what reasoning is there that we don't get subs just as fast?

And no, Commie is not the entire problem. Sure they could easily just grab someone from their Teekyu or DIVE!! subs (Which haven't had any delays this season), but anyone else here could easily throw together some speedsubs like Nakalus did for the first episode of AXZ. Bad subs are better than no subs

Looking at Nyaa right now there's three groups regularly doing subs for Kakegurui, a show that'll eventually be subbed by Netflix next month. Even back when S1 was airing we had GetWet subbing the whole thing (Some other groups picked it up early too but dropped it like [gg], and ReinWeiss and NemDiggers were editing commie's subs.

The problem is no one in the west wants to sub it asides from Commie and H&D, and H&D are out of commission this season.

The issue with Nanoha S1 is that the start is really really slow, but the movie does cut out a bit too much. Translating Elfnein's line as "I never got around to it" is just plain wrong. What she wanted to say is she tried but hasn't managed to get it right while in Commie's translation, she just sat on her ass and was too busy with whatever else to do it.
I know people complain a lot about not doing 1:1 translations of the action lines, but I don't complain about those. I even side with Commie 100% on the Rocky line, but the memeing I find inexcusable.
Changing proper names or inserting jokes where there were none is just plain retarded. These are things that can ruin the experience for people.
