If it's just random shops then prices can be all over the place although you can occasionally find some good deals if the booth is looking to move old inventory. MG #198 is the ZZ Ver.Ka which comes out in September. I think it's a solid guess to assume MG #199 will be announced from October to November. It will probably be an early 2018 kit. MG#200 I'd hope gets a little bit of info before next year, but who knows. It could be until March/April until it's announcement if MG #199 is a February/March kit.Akihabara is one of the biggest gunpla expo's of the year, si it'd make a great place to announce some mg's.


Hopefully, they do a poll like they did with MG#100.

Buffing means you're reducing the material until it's even and smooth. It's actually hard to do that with plastic unless you get your hands on a very low RPM rotary tool that doesn't have a lot of power. Not sure where you'll find one short of making one desu. Not the anon you're responding to but I've tried toothbrushes and drills on some clear parts but never got a good result

It's not because they have names. It's because there is literally NO reason for them to have names. Nothing they post distinguishes them from the rest of the people here.

for the main 2 "desert" colors, one was tamiyas desert yellow and the second is desert yellow with some black mixed in with it. used tamiya dark iron for the "metal" parts. for the silver on the gatling, i just handpainted vajellos silver mixed with some black. vajello is so good for handpainting i feel. for weathering, i experimented with testors, tamiya, and vajello silver and black just to see how they look

I have no idea how the fingers broke, all I just did a fairly thin coat of Alclad primer and metallic.
The wrists were because of poor build design frankly- no polycaps means nothing soft for the wrist ball to move in, meaning excess pressure on the tiny peg between ball and hand.

On the upside the pannel lining is decently done. Just practive more and eventually you'll get the hang of it. The most important lesson is still to thin your paint properly, spray at low PSI and work with thin layers. Good luck with future kits.

I still believe in a perfect world P-Bandai would be 90% recolors and maybe a handful of very niche suits that wouldn't make it as a regular release.
Stuff like the Amazing Z'Gok, RG Gold Frame Astray and the RG Zeta Limited Color Ver are all good examples of kits that are fine being P-Bandai since you can buy a HG/RG Z'Gok, a RG Red Frame Astray and a RG Zeta as regular release kits.
Kits that shouldn't be P-Bandai are stuff like the MG GM Command, the MG TR-1 Hazel, the MG EW suits (Tallgeese II and III for example) and DEFINITELY THE RAG-79-G1 WATERPROOF GUNDAM WHAT THE FUCK BANDAI.

Does anyone know how to tighten Polycap joints, mostly the waist joints? I got my first kit this week, it was an Astaroth Origin and the waist and should polycap joints are flimsy as fuck, it literally falls to pieces when I try to pose with it.

One trick is to add a thin coat of superglue to the ball joint (and let it cure properly before putting it back into the polycap, of course, or else the joint is going to be infinitely tight).

Also, don't force the ball joints into the polycaps too vigorously. It is possible to stretch them a little, which can be a cause of looseness.

Brush some acrylic gloss clearcoat like pledge varnish or vallejo or tamiya or any other dozens out there onto the ball and inside the socket. Then let it dry for 1-3 days before popping the parts back together. Should tighten right up.

You say this, but the Barbatos and Dantalion are both Blue and White.
The Gusion and Rebake aren't, and the Vual is black and purple but I highly doubt that is its original color scheme especially considering it's not even the original armor config (it uses chunks of armor from the Astaroth)
I am slightly curious about the Kimaris- while I believe the purple is the colors it fought in during the calamity war (it was always a part of the Bauduin family unlike the Gusion/Vual/Astaroth which are all suits acquired by third-party users, and in addition Gaelio brought it straight out of the vault so it was likely kept maintained in it's calamity-war colors) I have to wonder if it was initially painted Gjallarhorn White/Blue and Sir Bauduin had it repainted in the family colors once he earned honor on the battlefield and was recognized as an exceptional pilot.
If I spoke Japanese I would really love to sit down with the people response for IBO's story as well as Ippei and hash out all of the lore and backstory.

I own one, works great, Can take any type of paint (I've used Tamiya acrylics and lacquer primer). The needle setup I got with mine was 0.5 I believe which is fine for large area coverage, and you can buy a set that swaps it out to detail oriented (like preshading) for very cheap. Simple enough to take apart, customer service on Badger's end is responsive if you have problems. All in all I recommend it.
