They want to break the bond of the Custodian, reorient history, and free the Lulu Amel. I guess. It's kind of like Nastassja and Ryoko's plans. It's less genocidal than Ryoko's, but less prone to failure than Nastassja's because it doesn't rely on Maria.

It does mean Carol shares more with Fine than Ver and Mamu though. Carol did what she did out of personal hurt.

I thought the entire sequence involving it was great. It had an interesting schtick, directly worked toward the bad guys' strategy and did things other than be big and stand there and wait to be exploded by a combo attack. There was actual animation and choreography in the fight involving it and the other noise it makes and it really sold the idea of tiring out the stoplight squad through attrition.

It's a shame more fights with the noise don't go like this, because now it's pretty much inconsistent with the universe that they should get so tired so quickly when in previous seasons, and especially GX, they're happy to show them mowing down thousands and thousands of noise without breaking a sweat.

I just want fights with the noise to be a little more interesting, they nearly always just feel like filler.

What narrative purpose did going into Maria's head serve?
We already know Mamu was a good person on the inside, and so did Maria. Learning about the Oxytocin could have easily have been done in a shorter scene, where Elfnein has a breakthrough or some crap.
And DMJii already learned, supposedly, that they shouldn't recklessly endanger themselves because people care about them in GX, so why are they still doing that in AXZ?
Why dedicate screentime to FIS if you are either showing something pointless or retreading stuff when you have both Tsubasa and Chris do nothing?

The problem is that all they did was shit out alcanoise everywhere and then when they actually started to fight they were literally jobbing so they wanted to lose. Kinda, kinda of not. Not a whole lot of new themes are being established but a lot of important S1, G themes are being reestablished. Carol sort of felt like an extended side quest and took the story in a sharp turn to the left. AXZ has been bringing back things like the Curse of Babel. Even FINE and the FIS's original goals where brought back into the light and not to mention cleaning up the whole Linker problem.

Not that you have to do it like that, 3.5 was great in this department. Hibiki and Chris bounced off each other and DMJii perfectly and they didn't even need to split the gaybies up even though they did while Tsubasa and Maria's interactions were great.
And everyone did shit. Maria is a shitty spy for all intents and purposes, but at least they integrated Tsubasa into it all.
Chris and Kirika being afraid of ghosts was great, and even the Stroganettes did shit.

The XDU original story that is supposed to bridge GX and AXZ.
It was entirely written by Kaneko and the characters are handled much better than GX or even AXZ thus far.

Mistaking a scarecrow that lacked a lower half for a person?
In 3.5, though, we get several moments where the 2 react differently, and even before they are forcefully split up.

Never rolled it, so no. Best I have is the Kirika/Elf studying memoria with its 7% ATK bonus.
Damage is about 1200-1300 on regular attacks and 1700-1800 using the big skill.

Score and damage, if I get one extra team point I could cram that DESS memoria in the first team.

Bikki is the main attacker in the damage one, she can use both specials twice in the fight and they do 1,6k (the first time, after getting buffed by her own attack 1,8k) and 2,5k respectively, her normal attacks do 1,7k. Tsubasa can use her second special once and it deals 1,8k, while the normal attack does almost 1,6k.
Chris' normal attacks do 1k and she can't use specials.
This was tested on a lv33 yellow boss, I was pretty lucky with the pulls for this event since these are literally all the 5* I have.
