Why is it farting green clouds that shoot green stuff at merpeople

That robot looks like shit though.

No, they're fucking casuals who don't even understand how elbow and arm joints work.

What expression is that meant to convey?
>>15783495
>quiping when killing enemy
is this the pinnacle of american writing?
>>15783459
At least they seem to have based their generic knockoff Gundam on the Zeta and not the RX-78
>>15783495
Why is the art so stiff and lifeless? What the fuck?
Aren't these supposed to be professionals?
I've seen fucking webcomics with better art.

Kyle was a total weeaboo and definitely would be an /m/ shitposter.

It's a shame the current GL artists lack real imagination. Everything is back to giant fists and AK47s again.
>>15783767
Whoa, who's that cool motherfucker with the sword and extra arm?
>>15783766
But isn't that a Labor?
>>15783766
>valkyrie
Fuck off casual
Oh boy are we posting shitty 3D trace jobs from American comics?
This is the OP for the Battletech general on /tg/ right now.
>>15783733
Half the "artists" just draw over 3D models and pass the garbage off to the laziest inkers in the world with 0 line variety and lazy colorists.
And even though it takes months to produce a single comic good artists regularly take breaks from their own comics or switch off to other artists.
>>15783778
Don't remember, it's been ages since I read the run.
>>15783791
Yeah I guess. I just associate named it that because he creates a valkyrie in another issue and fires off a shit ton of missles. But I'll leave it that way because it triggers people like >>15783817
I really like the metal men
>>15783773
I liked when Johns defined the four of them. Hal uses jets and the go-to classics like giant fist, John uses military arms and architecture, Kyle is creative, and Guy just punches and shoots shit. It was a nice effort on his part at least.

I wanna read Kyle Rayner's GL runs now, I never read GL before but where do you suggest I start?
>>15784077
Kyle's run is a pretty great starting point; it strips back all the continuity and reintroduces the basic concepts quite well.
Green Lantern Vol 3, Issue 51 starts his story, which goes right up to the end of Vol 3. There are a couple of issues in the first 10-or-so tied up with old Lantern continuity, and the big Hal Jordan cross-over event Time Crisis, but past that the only real times it'd need wider knowledge would be when he goes to Manhattan with the Titans.
Easily my favourite GL run, hope you enjoy it too.
>>15783495
>the Gendum's hands
The artist just posed a model kit or figure and traced it, didn't he? The quality of art in comics nowadays is pretty bad.
>Kyle Rayner
Thanks to Garth Ennis, the first thing that comes to mind for me when thinking of him is Bueno Excellente.
>>15783459
So which gundam is that?
You do realize there are other comic publishers out there, right?

The Martial Manhunter gets roped into a surprising number of mecha fights, ranging from parody to straightforward brawls.
>>15785068
IDW's publishing Atomic Robo as well? Jeez, I've been out of the loop.
The only decent /m/ thing in the west is W40K
Pic related's from an issue that came out today that's supposed to set up DC's big event for the rest of this year. The Justice League are captured by Mongul and have armor hindering their powers. Mongul sends out robots made by the Toyman (The good Japanese one with a bootleg Dai-Guard/Kikaioh kitbash, not the fat evil one)to fight the league, but Batman discovers a button on the inside of the robot's mouth and tells the rest of the league to punch the button. Then this happens
>>15785614
what the fuck
>>15786067
Are they also fighting an eldrich god or something soon?
