Back in late 2000's there's this mall chain called SM. They had this big kid's toy store chain called Toy Kingdom specifically for their then-largest mall (called SM Megamall). It was quite large with many "sections" and even had statues separating said sections. Blade there was for the Japanese figures and toys section just beside the Gundam ones and the general figures sections.They had Spider-Man, Thor, Hulk, Superman, Batman, Naruto, etc. statues too. I think there was even another Rider... Faiz?

As time went on though their size slowly shrank until they were moved to the lower ground floor (originally they were in the upper ground floor) as their section was going to be replaced by the supermarket. The statues were apparently shipped to other malls (since at this point other SM malls, the other larger ones, gained their own Toy Kingdom). Glad to see him in a nearby mall (The Podium).

They used to have many toku toys too, now they're few.

Most: Roboto Punchee. I feel like aesthetically it captures the idea of slapping an upgrade on Top of the base suit pretty well compared to the other lvl 3s. That and I come from a background of super robots before I ever tasted bugmen. Rocketo fucking punch.

Least: Pretty much every Ghost upgrade with the exception of Grateful Dead and Specters upgrades. Toucan Boost had the potential to be cool but it didnt jive with me. Especially when it started wearing Coats. Fuck everything on that show looked like trash. I did kinda like Robin Hood, but im probably just biased because im an archer.

Best: Gaim Jinba Lemon Arms. Sure, everyone using the Sonic Arrow is samey, but some of the best fights in the show are the ones between the Energy Riders. The fight choreography with the bows is top tier.

Worst: Drive Type Deadheat. It's just a really ugly form on Drive, not much better on Mach, and the Dead Zone thing never goes anywhere so it's not like it's even particularly story-important.

In fact, fuck it, here's my honest go at it. Some of them were a tossup, there's a lot of pretty decent suit designs in Ex-Aid but only a few stellar ones. This is also ranking purely on costume design: a lot of Hiiro's best fights are with DHKZ Full Dragon, but I rank it low because the suit looks like ass with the back piece on it. Full Dragon only ranks higher than the individual piece for Ex-Aid because Fang is the part of DHKZ that looks like shit. That's also why Genm LV0 is in third place when Dan's best fight is him and Emu against Parad.

I like the big and beefy look of Ex-Aid DHKZ, and I'm not too big a fan of the half-shaved head look of MBXX. Everyone else gets that stupid back piece that makes them look like they're hunchbacks.

As for Knock Out Fighter, I like the more sinister look of Perfect Puzzle a bit more for Parad. I considered tossing Knock Out into Ex-Aid's list as well, where it would have ranked at the top.

I think both Parad and Emu have very different ways of filtering their emotional states at this point. Emu has a VERY clear identity and knowledge of himself and his motivations. Parad on the other hand defined himself by being the strongest Rider, who could win every fight. It's when that identity was negated, by being threatened by Cronus and upstaged by Emu, that Parad started losing himself to other emotions carried over from Emu's memories.

Looking at all the main Rider's base form designs/palettes, I'm kind of shocked of the lack of blue colored main Riders. The only ones I can think of are Blade, Gaim and to an extent Amazon Neo and Build's Tank half. Wasn't Ichigo's first suit blue as well?

Drive's great. Starts as mostly Monster-Of-the-Week police procedural, but the characters are fun enough that it's still entertaining to watch. By the time Chase becomes a Kamen Rider and the story starts focusing on a personal case with Shinnosuke, it gets REALLY fucking good

Wizard seems like it could've taken a much darker turn. The Phantom's have to make people despair and all that. Imagine them kidnapping people and torturing them slowly until they despair. Or killing their family and pets in front of them.

As it is it seems like the poor phantoms have no power at all. Best they can come up with is to 'booga booga' someone until Wizard shows up and slaps them around.

I left Drive as one of my last Riders. Not sure why other then I wanted to finish phase 1 first and I'd already watched all of phase 2 up to that point.

Either way, I wasn't expecting much going in. It starts off slow, and I don't think it's the best paced series, but when I finished it I ended up falling in love with it.

The final act is pretty amazing. There's a ton of payoff and Drive might be the closest show to having an ensemble cast that actually stays relevant for the duration of the show.

Shinnosuke turned out to be one of my favourite riders. He a great character and hee's pure hotblooded justice. It's a nice change of pace compared to a lot of other mcs. The other riders are pretty great too. If you weren't around for the shitposting going on while it aired I doubt you'll understand until you watch it yourself. Mach's divisive but I ended up loving where his arc went and he's one of my fav secondaries.

Drives suits are kind of lame but he has some great fight choreography and his final form is one of the best looking ones Bandai decided to make.

I dunno, watch it. The humors kinda lame but whatever.

It starts kind of slow as a monster of the weak show with wacky jokes. When the Chase arc starts to develop and the group finds out who is Drive it becomes much much better. All 3 riders have great arcs and at the end of the series you will love most characters and miss them once it finish. I recommend you to watch all the movies and specials for more fun.

Charge Up was used quite a few times after its debut, it just debuts very late. From 31 to 35 it was used every episode. Then it was used once more afterwards when the past Rider stuff started, and a final time if you count the Christmas special (which is mostly a recap but has a bit of action in the end).

Jinba Marron is a really weird form from a thematic perspective. Knuckle is an European-based Rider (like Baron), yet he get a jinbaori anyway when used with an Energy Lockseed instead of something more medieval themed.

It would be a runaway swordbum ronin lead outrunning the Shinsengumi in an Edo setting. Throw in a late-game half-English white-gold-blue Rider that speaks in hilarious fragmented Engrish and it'll be a romp for the whole family to enjoy. Throw in some jidaigeki elements for grandpa. Not sure about the belt design. I'm kinda into the way Amazon and X can pull useful weapons out of their belts, so there'd probably be a katana handle sticking out somewhere.

Pretty well. He only gets two forms, and they enter the show at around the same time (late -teen's) are both quite cool. They unqiue suits, weapons, fighting styles, finishers, abilities, belts, and even bikes. Although you won't see much of the bikes because it's still KR.

Honestly, I way prefer how RX handles the forms than say, Fourze or Agito. All three serve a purpose and all three feel vital to RX's arsenal.

They actually keep the form use pretty consistent through, and BioRider remains useful up to the ending, there are some problems though, but I'd still rate it as more consistent than most Heisei series as far as situational form changing goes.

The problems

-After a while, for some reason, they start acting like BioRider and RoboRider didn't have finishers, always reverting to base Black RX to finish off the enemy. I guess Black RX's default finisher was cooler looking, but it diminishes them somewhat.

-Important enemies later in the show always go through RoboRider's armor, and due to its pistol shot not being a finisher anymore, it becomes very underpowered. BioRider continues useful though.
