Just finished Zeta (wtf was that ending?) and I need to see what happens next.
What am I in for?

>What am I in for?
Fun.
>>15628114
Just remember to take a break before starting it, like a week or so on. ZZ is very different tonally from Zeta. Also, skip the "first" episode as it's basically an infomercial.
I had a lot of fun with ZZ, personally; both goofy antics and srs bsns type stuff.

>Just remember to take a break before starting it, like a week or so on
But I'm already on the 5th episode after finishing Zeta around 6 hours ago. That being said, the goofiness is much more endearing than I would have expected, I guess because I know its still UC Gundam and that it gets "srs bsns" eventually when appropriate.
I also like Judau a lot more than I thought I would. What a cool guy.
Marshmallow is also quite unique and interesting, though I have a sinking feeling he won't be around for long.
Expect total nonsense from start to finish, and to end up feeling like your time was wasted.

>What a cool guy.
Judeau is indeed a pretty cool guy. If at any time something doesn't make sense, just imagine it's a story told by Judeau.
>>15628961
Marshmallow is a fucking hero, and super underrated if only because losers like to write off ZZ and its characters.
>>15628961
I hated the first half. Watched it on the side tab while playing vidya. Last half is excellent and they take the show a bit more seriously.
>>15628961
Mashymre is one of the more enjoyable-to-watch Gundam villains, right up there with Gym.
>>15628961
Marshmallow was one of the better parts of the first half. One of the reasons I don't like ZZ's first half as much is how disconnected it is with the episodic format. If they used Marshmallow in the first half more and better connected the show to the Axis conflict than it would have a balance between goofy and serious.
>>15628961
Oh fuck, nice. Your sentiments definitely reflect mine; Judau's a pretty cool dude IMO.
>>15628114
Get ready for peak silliness somewhere around episode 18
>>15628114
>What am I in for?
Well... do you wanna have a puru time?
>>15629485
this desu
I don't think Judau's existence even mattered to the plot.
Mashymre and the rest of the antagonists jobbed so hard, more than half the time Judau could have just sat back and watch them fail by themselves.

Treasure the goofiness while it lasts. Once it starts getting grim it won't stop.
>>15628114
The best Gundam out of the trilogy.
>>15630237
ZZ was never 100% grim.
>ZZ Thread
>a positive one at that
>no one has complained about Moon Moon yet
i probably jinxed it now.
Moon Moon was basically like the Khmer Rouge if they raised the kids on Mysterious Cities of Gold and then the adults died in space.
>>15630270
Dublin was like, 90% grim.
>1-24
Oh no we don't have a passed series outline, let's fuck and slowly introduce characters and mechs
>25-35
We should've known this stuff from the start
>36-43
Fucking around in space and some old guys are back, not too busy not to have guest colonies and asteroids
>44-47
We have prepared enough zeeks, time to kill them all off at once
>>15630375
>let's fuck
Let's fuck around
I wish it wasn't a typo.
I finished ZZ and CCA and I have a questionWhat happened to Yazan ?
>>15628114
I'll never understand why Zeta's ending gets so much flak. I thought the fights, Kamille's power-ups included, were excellent and the last part was just devastating. Kamille grew a lot during Zeta and seeing that reduced to nothing was what made the ending so sad, along with the character deaths.
I don't know if that's what they set out to do, but Zeta really was a great war drama thanks to the pacifist ideals of some characters that Kamille inherited and how soul-crushing it was.
>>15630380
Depends on the source. Some manga had him continue to pilot well into Unicorn era but I imagine after getting humbled in ZZ he would go back to being a priest or whatever the fuck he was doing.
>>15630380
Dead because bailing out of a cockpit without a parachute is a terrible idea.
And the irony that he was killed by space gravity after he worked for the Titans is great.

Chillin' with rich people.
>>15628114
Purus and Haman-sama
>>15628114
Something better than Iron Menstruation.
>>15631008
Wrong
How many people were pissed that /ourguy/ Yazan became comic relief in ZZ?
>>15634476
tying up vegetarians and throwing animal bones at them is pretty cool
>>15634476
would've been cool if he started off as comic relief then fucked his way into becoming a serious villain, sort of like a self-aware personification of the series's tonal clusterfuck
Does Yazan continue being part of the show past the first ten episodes?
>>15634476
>Yazanfag memespouting
>>15623052
>>15637627
The /ourguy/ part of that post was in jest, calm down Kamille
>>15629485
So just like Zeta then
>>15630401
>the last part was just devastating.
It was devastatingly bad.
>Zeta really was a great war drama
That's an insult to actual war dramas that don't involve silly robots.
>H-HE'S BACK!!!

HA-HAYAI
>>15637670
Nigga do you even like Mecha?
>>15638865
None of the Ragers enjoy mecha as much as they do shitposting. I'm also confident none of them even finish the original TV trilogy
>>15640103
I did and it was awful.
>>15642297
That's on you and your taste then.
ANIME JA NAI!
>>15628114
>I need to see what happens next.
Too bad.
>What am I in for?
Something completely different.
It's enjoyable, but it's different.

A good time

EVERYONE'S A NOBLE MIND

Probably the weirdest live action show ever
