Even outside of Gen, you still had a really likeable cast, some fantastic designs by Amemiya, and by far the BEST crossover movie. It wasn't a series that set out to break ground; it just wanted to be fun.

Go-Bus was essentially Kobayashi trying to bring Sentai back to basics and focus things after Gokai and it was really refreshing to see just how human the characters were written and just how fucking effective Enter was.

That's what this show has been doing though. Remember Gekitotsu Robots and Jet Combat? Mighty Bros XX was very quickly replaced by Maximum Mighty with the recent episode being the first time in a while that we've seen it. Hiiro's the only character who's forms are all actively used.

The Level 3/4 forms are just simple attachments though. They are pretty cheap, come in bundles, and won't get figuarts any time soon. DHZ got an SH Figuart, so it's pretty obvious they want to have it in the show. And the only time Hiiro used DoReMiFa was because it was a Poppy episode (and I was disappointed that it wasn't Hiiro who would think that Poppy's game can be cleared without killing her).

Like, since they just brought Dan everyone assumes it's him pulling strings again, but they keep it a secret just like they did with GENM for a few weeks. I decided to Skim trough some earlier episodes out of curiosity to find out what actually made me hooked on this show that made me want to watch the next episode RIGHT NOW instead of having to wait for a weak.

And I think its around episode 5 trough 7
where in 5 we got the gemn = Dan reveal.
in 6 we got the Blade level 3 rhythm perfected trough cardiac arrest training.
And then finally ep 7 where the bait and switch of gemn and Parad when they tried to uncover his true identity.

at that point I just wanted to watch more Ex-aid now rather then later. Because I noticed this keeps escalating and it isn't stopping.

same as you, episode 5. 1~4 weren't that great, everything felt rushed, most of the cast seemed like they were going to be complete assholes, didn't like the suits, the hit markers were kind of annoying... then 5 came along and started to give them development and things started to get interesting plotwise. mostly everyone stayed an asshole, but it wasn't as frustrating to watch. got used to the suits, started to find the hit markers charming (the rhythm game parts in ep. 6 helped with that).
