Gundam Legacy and 0083 Rebellion rank high on my list.

Legacy for being a sequel to a lot of prior Side Stories/mangas (Zeonic Front,LWC,Beyond the Blaze,etc)

0083 Rebellion for being a great retelling. Expending the earth arc really helps with character development. Plus it incorporates a lot of tech from other sources (MSV,Miller's Report,08th MST,0080,LWC,MS Igloo, etc)

TL;DR
UC MS tech continuity gets me rock hard & Seeing side story char's getting more lore.

Solid B grade, and not zeon wank so much as just a story about a guy at war. The main squad has 1 zaku, and all but the last few pages of it take place prior to the episode in 0079. Even shows zeeks being cunts to civilians. Basically it's just the back story of the squad from a memorable episode.
