I saw the movie...

They retconned Zordon as the previous red ranger and Rita as the Green Ranger.

They mentioned the morphing which I think it was a good idea.

The rangers couldn´t morph, until they sinchronized between them and the morphing grid.
Zordon was an asshole who wanted the rangers to morph in order to get energy from the morphing grid and turn back into life and recover the red coin.

Billy was to empathethic for someone who has diagnosed with autism.

I laughed my face off when Rita hangs the rangers to a yacht and throws Billy into the ocean. He dies

The only way the rangers could win if they scale Zords and use their feat breaking a Green Lantern shield in Justice League/Power Rangers but doing so would be flawed considering it'd lead to characters like Jax Briggs on par with Captain Marvel (DC) and some Megazords are blatantly more powerful than others. The Thunderzords were an improvement on the original Megazords and they still lost to a few monsters.

Sort of. They have issues handling too many characters and the action is rarely satisfying. Villains are very underwhelming. Granted, its only 7 episodes yet but the cast is so large the first introductions aren't over yet....but we're still getting an early sixth like if this were a normal show AND an extra ranger character. In short, it has every problem that one would expect from such a large cast and one would think they were prepared for it. Hopefully it gets better.


That said, the characters are decent at worst with the only exceptions being the red and the commander but red inproved a bit in the last 2 episodes and the commander was tolerable in the last one. There's plenty of room for improvement. Whether it happens remains to be seen.

I didn't grow up on MMPR, nor do I think it's the best, but I agree with him
The MMPR/Zyuranger suits are subtle on its motif while retaining a uniform design with the diamond patterns.
Take away the helmets and you would never suspect they were dinosaur themed.
Same goes for the Megazord, take away the tips of the feet along with the rarely used Mastodon shield and the dinosaur theme is gone.

This really sums up the problem with the movie suits. They're not simple. Instead they're super complex looking. Nor is there any elegance to them. And these things and the fact that all the Rangers' helmets besides Red's look really similar to each other (unlike the original suits, in which every helmet looked distinctly unique) makes it hard for them to be iconic.

Everyone talking about the Power Rangers movie's income should keep in mind that like seven Power Rangers series have been trending on Netflix since the premiere. Google trends shows the week of March 19 through March 25, searches for "best Power Rangers seasons" were the highest they've ever been.

I wouldn't be surprised if DVD sales are also up (first couple seasons way up, Zordon stuff as a whole up, and then everything else getting a slight bump).

Similar in vein to LSR and RPM with a little bit of what Operation Overdrive could've been had anyone given a shit. The rangers' zords will have an animal theme, haven't decided what animals they should be.

Not sure about the theme music, but i'd like there to be both an orchestral and metal soundtrack. For the metal, i'd pick Charlie Parra to compose that part of the soundtrack, he'll be sort of our Ron Wasserman.

It's the basic evil emperor from another world coming to invade and conquer earth story, the military's already on their asses but are outnumbered in their attempts to thwart this new threat. Meanwhile, a rich ivestor has found this ancient power that grants people with superhuman capabilities and brings in five of the younger recruits to become the new Power Rangers. Another theme to this season will be the Rangers butting heads with the military.
