Grab all four levels of TAC Customize first. I recommend picking up Repair Boost, TAC Point Bonus, Force Burst and Excessive Force on a first run, then I got SP Boost, Reverse Engineer, Critical Boost and High Spirits on my second run.

Then go for parts, at least the five that you want to carry over. I went with ExC Laser, Prana Converter, V Circuit, CQB Supporter and Hyper Generator.

After that, pick up Hit and Away and Potential for anyone who needs it, then start getting everybody you use regularly Fighter's Spirit LV3 and Focus Over Limit LV3.

Once you have more TacP to spare, get SP Up LV9 and SP Regen for Okita and Ruri, Attacker for whoever you use as a direct fighter regularly, etc. Second Attack is best saved for a second playthrough when you'll have enough TacP that you can toss a hundred points in someone's Skill stat to make it always trigger.

41 is the last "Normal" difficulty stage.. It has an easy variant if you have too few skill points. After it, it splits from there to either two more normal stages, or into the final stretch of hard stages.

Fall of the D is the first of those hard stages, and is officially the point where the game takes the kid gloves off.

Just like the Z-Crystal in Tengoku. You spend Tac Points to get a permanent squad-wide bonus. You can only pick one choice out of each grade per run, but on each NG+ run you keep all of the choices you made on the previous runs, so by the time of your third run you can have all the bonuses at once.

Grade 1 is bonuses that provide a bonus to every unit at the start of each turn. I recommend Repair Boost, which is free HP Regen S and EN Regen S for everyone, stacking with any other regen they already have.

Grade 2 is bonuses that hand out extra Tac Points and/or money at the end of each stage. It would take literally dozens of runs to have enough Tac Points for everyone, while with good use of the Prana Converter you'll be swimming in cash by the end of your first run, so take TAC Point Bonus on your first run and Reverse Engineer on your second.

Grade 3 is a bonus that any unit who accrues at least three Extra Counts at once will have for the rest of the stage. I prefer Force Burst to raise the morale cap to 180, but Critical Boost is probably better since you're going to be using Smash Hit and Valor together on bosses a lot.

Grade 4 is a bonus that applies when your units sortie. I prefer Excessive Force on a first run so everyone gets +10 starting morale.

Getting the HP regen from a FUB for almost everybody is very recommended if not a must, because there's quite a few mooks that hits like a truck and at least in my experience, surviving the waves of mooks is way harder than merely dealing with boss(es) at the end of the battle.

Also, it is a must to send your units together because due mook attack power,few units can survive being hit many times so spreading the damage through many units is a must to not get unit losses.

And well, it is common in all masoukishin games, but positioning is really important to get good hit/dodge rates and while not critical, having a good elemental match up helps as well

Yes. There's quite a few.

The most obvious would be inserting Mari into the original Eva (because let's face it, that's pretty much what she does in Rebuild anyway) wholecloth and maybe giving Kaworu the Mark 06 or 13 or that shit scrapheap Asuka used in Q for his boss - and maybe making him recruitable iunno - and taking animation cues from Rebuild when it did things better animation-wise.

I guess Eva then End of Eva plot then, but with 2.0 in End place. Considering that Rebuild 1.0 is a abridged version of the early parts of the TV series, save for Kaworu cameos, which he does in SRW all the time anyway.

Big O might screw things up, however... It might had fitted well with Might Gaine instead.

And Macross Dynamite 7 is post plot, because, even not having watched everything, I know Alphonse and Mark Sein and everyone else didn't go to space to hunt for space whales, or any other fishing in general.

Really easy for the first two Rebuilds, a lot more difficult if you mix in 3.xx. Would help if the Rebuilds ever finished so we could figure out what the hell is going on there.

If you want some actual 3.whatever plot (why), have Rei still stuck in the -01 after Zeruel without it actually ending the world, and maybe have Ikari and/or SEELE use Rei Q and the Mark 9 to screw with him and help kickstart Instrumentality once EoE rolls along, and maybe have OG Rei return after that whole mess like in @3..

Maybe have Kaworu's TV fight play out, but with the option to Convince him and get the Mark 6 or the -13 after the fact.

Well, I could say Compact L-Gaim is one of the most powerful things I've ever had the opportunity to play as.

However:
-It requires you funneling every resource into it in a game where you get punished for not completing everything as quickly as possible in addition to only getting enough money to fully upgrade about 3 or so units.
-In addition, this game would punish you for trying to favor any other unit but the particularly good ones since there's an intense powercreep so you have to immensely overpower enemies in order to prevent yourself from being overpowered yourself, which is a staple of Winkysoft.
-Furthermore, the only SRW's I've completed for comparison's sake are OG1/2, 1, J, and of course, Compact.
-Extending on this, I felt J's Blade was far more incredible to behold in a single playthrough. Though J has very little reputation for balance, Compact has a similar reputation when it comes to good units.

if we can have Yamato, Crayon Shin-Chan, and Godzilla all be part of the franchise than there isn't much that is really off limits, besides TFA did have a Japanese release(complete with JAM Project music), and is probably the most anime in nature of any of the American made Transformers series(seriously change some of the names and terminology around and a synopsis of TFA would come off as really similar to your average Brave series)

This Sounds like a fun series list.

In the year 2045, humanity begins to advance beyond the known Solar System.
The Small Planet Altair led by the Emperor Zul, who aims to conquer the galaxy, by sending out Invaders.
Those creature's runs into conflict with Earth.

The 7th Space War, dubbed the Moon Wars. It was a war between the Gilgamesh, Balarant and the Invaders.
During this battle, Emperor Zul sends a male baby called Mars to live among humanity. Accompanying the baby is a giant robot named Gaia.

To put an End to the Moon Wars the Shin Getter Dragon was created, With the Power of the Getter Rays the Invader's were gone.

In order to stop the Shin Getter Dragon wracking havoc on Earth, Gilgamesh and Balarant then drop a Colony on their home planet. This cause Getter Ray to almost wiped out the Earth's Poulation.

13 Years Later...
Earth did it's best to make a living in the post-apocalyptic landscape.
Mobile Suits and weapons left over from the war fall into the hands of civilians as well as other organizations such as he Vultures, Serpent Tail's and The Claw Man were formed.

But having loss the Invaders return and planet Altair ruler Emperor Zul came with them.
Altair awoke the Evil Jashin Drago and send out their Abductors.

Out in Space the Macross 7, having learnt about the end of Moon Wars, made it's way back into the Earth Sphere, only to learn that Gilgamesh and Balarant where still fighting.

Will our Heroes be able to survive on a rotten Earth and stop Planet Altair's invasion find out, in SUPER ROBOT WARS X.
