Lightspeed is not a popular season at all. It's going to dip, but not to Turbo levels. Time Force will raise high, Wild Force won't dip due to Forever Red waiting room, Ninja Storm and Dinothunder will both be high as those are popular nostalgia seasons. The rest will dip until RPM and then it'll dip back down.

As someone who was born in 93 and introduced to Power Rangers with Lightspeed Rescue, this is fucking garbage. I really love what they did with the Zordon era with continuity between seasons, actual character development, comedic relief with Bulk and Skull, and the music. This has no charm

I remember loving LSR as a kid.

In Space and Lost Galaxy both had a running objective (find Zordon/the new world). LR is just fighting demons and lessons of the day for now.

Once the Titanium Ranger arc begins, things get a bit more exciting.

The only thing I even remember about LSR is that I really liked the toy of the Zord.
That fucker was durable, it lasted all the way to the unfortunate "All these these things I liked before are shit SHIIIIT! I better just throw it away because I'm a big bad Teenager now," phase.

I like how the lesson here is that they needs Hearts but later this season we have a human who is brain washed.
So either way things can get fucked.

Lightspeed Rescue was my first 'actual watched' because I didn't see all of MMPR through, and yeah, I didn't notice well how god damn thirsty they made green, like holy shit its absurd, this is a kids show, pinks skirt in her normal uniform is "this is for kids thats a bit much", and I didn;t realize how much the Titanium Ranger plot is star wars (the actor even looks like Hayden Christian).

From what little I've seen there doesn't seem to be anything redeeming. Other people have probably said it, but it for the most part looks like they just took a Marvel movie and slapped Power Rangers on it. Maybe it's nostalgia, but the designs have no charm with Goldar probably being the worst offender.

I think this was the point where Saban completely owned the Fox Kids brand so the censorship wasn't as bad as before. Digimon was airing at the same time and they made direct references to the devil and religious imagery.

I was the wrong age to be a Power Rangers kid so I'd never watched it before, the bits of it I've caught have been pretty interesting. It manages to have a certain kids show charm that hasn't been lost just because it's old
