Quite frankly it makes me wish we had a Kamen Rider show based on royalty, featuring an official Kamen Rider Prince. I've always wanted a functioning family of Riders, and royal family theme sets that up perfectly. Perhaps make a story of feuding families. The family of Kamen Rider King vs Kamen Rider Emperor or some. Like Romeo and Juliet with the feud between the Montague and Capulets, but without the juvenille love shit.

I just want to seem some good family vs family action in Kamen Rider form. It'd be such a nice spin on the Multi-Rider focused storyline. It would akso be a nice twist on the formula to see the final forms so early (as King and Emperor would obviously be the respective family's most powerful Rider form that the sons will someday have to inherit).

Something like this seems like an idea you'd find only in Toei & Bandai's early Hesei think-tank, though...

To be honest, both of them are shit. But I don't mind, since it's the same bullshit for most action figures. Covering those joints isn't expensive at all. It would raise the price of the figure for $15 at worse. But unfortunately the figure industry knows that people will easily buy figures for well over $150 just because their joints are hidden. I always pondered the idea of syringes being the collectible gimmick for a season of Rider, but I figured no one would ever allow it to happen on this kid's show during ANY year. Japan's super big against drug abuse by children.

This new adult segment of Kamen Rider airing kn Amazon Prime helps circumvent such concerns though. Also, I cannot believe how quickly it was for Bandai to include collectible gimmicks into this new adult subseries of Rider. I figured it would taken them at least a project beyond Amazons for them to be confident enough to spring the collectible drug on us.

Furthermore this makes me wonder how many Kamen Riders we will end up getting in Amazons. With a collectible gimmick, they hypothetically make a ton more. At the very least they can cover the entire Greek alphabet if they so wanted this way, unlike with the original Amazon Driver.

The Kamen Rider 1 movie was pretty great disregarding that god awful suit but if you don't have some kind of previous attachment to Hongo and Rider 1 and go in expecting the usual spring affair you might get pissed that Ghost gets shafted out of his own movie.
