Hell, make them Pallad, someone so detached from human morality that you can't properly judge them.
Don't make characters say one thing and do another for the sake of conflict. That's not gray morality, that's just bad writing.

I imagine it'd feel fucking weird, Decade is the anniversary rider being that he visits the worlds of the previous series, but as actors changed and got older and each world was given like two episodes they really went crazy with the plots of the worlds in comparison to the actual series.

Jin had his work taken and made into man eating monsters, so he turns himself into a monster to kill all the other monsters created from his work.
Jin knows that Humans will fight other Humans, he can't stop them from fighting so why try or even care, he has his own goals and that's all that matters.

Haruka is a kid, he's stupid, doesn't understand what is actually going on, and believes that everyone(Human and Amazon) can live peacefully together.
It's only when Haruka realizes that he lost his humanity by becoming an Amazon that he separated himself from humanity in order to build a life for other Amazons, despite knowing that he and Mole will have to kill them eventually.

Both act on emotion and feelings rather than intellectually and reason, which cause both to go into their own extremes by the end of Season 1.

My argument is that Jin didn't even take the serial killer into the police on the argument that "He's a human, I can't hurt humans". Like, none of the characters did. That's not smart, that's not emotional, that's stupid.
I'm not saying that the characters acting on emotion is bad, but when that's all they act on, it goes from natural and realistic to annoying. It's the same problem I had with Kiva, nobody acts on reason. Heck, Tachibana is made to be a scuzzy bad guy, and he managed to make an Amazon that doesn't hurt people. But no, we gotta push the "eat or be eaten" angle cause TATAKAE.

So-so.

First one's garbage, but the suits and effects are pretty amazing. Even when they're for the garbage bits like the goofy looking henchman or Mark Hamil being turned into a giant cockroach.

Second one's got a better tone, suits are still good, cool alien space ship, and some other cool stuff like that one transformation but for some reason I wasn't super fond of the fights which I thought had some lazy cuts and stuff but I'm probably just being impossible to please.

First one's comically bad in every way that isn't practical effects. Also Mark Hamill's in it, as a side character.

Second one's at least got a slightly better lead (It's David Hayter of all fucking people, which I still find weird), improved practical effects, and Koichi Sakamoto did the choreography.

It's understandable, Chase was a really flat character at first, and his situation was confusing
But seeing him grow to be part of the team, grow closer to Shinosuke, fall in love with Kiriko (and get his heart broken) and even considering Gou his friend at the very end made his death heart breaking. His cute robot antics made me love him as a character, especially learning how to drive, and when he died, handing over his license and shift bike, and calling Gou his friend even if Gou didn't agree, it broke me. Also seeing Gou regret being so stubborn towards him nad calling Chase his friend in the end doubly so.

I feel like they just threw me into this world with absolutely no way to find my barrings. They introduce so many concepts and characters in a way where I should be expected to know them. I almost felt like I was missing an episode but I wasn't. It was hard to get invested.
