How come Decade was the only Heisei Rider to not use his finisher in Heisei VS Showa? He never uses any of his Dimension- attacks. He barely seems to care when fighting the Showa Riders. When #2 attacked him with a flying Rider Punch, he only countered with a normal punch of his own.

Kamen Rider and Super Sentai are like the Coke and Pepsi of the Japanese karate spandex worlds. Most people only know of them through western adaptations like Power Rangers, but they're part of a genre called tokusatsu. Super Sentai is generally more colorful and younger audience friendly, plus they have giant robots. Kamen Rider is mostly seen as kid friendly but more geared towards older audiences. No giant robots usually, but fancier costumes.

If you've never watched Kamen Rider before, a lot of recent seasons are actually good starting points. Kamen Rider Fourze is fun and lighthearted but has great action scenes and an really easy to like protagonist. Kamen Rider W is a sort of parody/love letter to hard boiled cop dramas, as seen through the lens of goofy dorks trying to be cool and fighting crime. Kamen Rider Gaim was a series that started lighthearted with breakdancing and armor made of fruit, but quickly spiraled into dark corners and some really heartwrenching moments while maintaining some humor as needed, if you're feeling something more serious.

I mean... they already are? Ghost had a flashback to Drive. Drive referenced the Lupin stuff, which was tied to the Gaim crossover. Wizard had the crossover finale with Gaim, which also tied into Sengoku Battle, and Rider Taisen also referenced the Koyomi subplot of Sengoku too.

I don't think this will add something on top of everything else, if you think the previous ones weren't enough.

I think Den-O and Decade have some of the best vocal delivery and lines in the franchise. Den-O, thanks to being a really cartoony set of characters played by professional voice actors. We often ridicule him for jobbing to Shadow Moon, Amadam and Fifteen, but he tends to have a pretty strong showing otherwise. This. I remember watching it weekly on 2009 (with TVN subs, nonetheless) and while the final episode left me with such a bad taste of cliffhanger, the movie trailer seems to be worth it. Then came along the 2010 movie which doesn't have the slightest scene from the previous trailer and explain the whole decade plot with "decade has no story" (unironically, I believe). This is why I have a hard time liking Decade, even until now.
